2 Moms and 3 teen boys spent a wonderful week at Villa Caramar. Do: Rent a 4x4. Make surf lessons with Javier at Paragos Adventures. Eat dinner at Mycelium, Villa Deveena, Cafe Playa Negra Hotel. Order the banana pancakes at Jalapenos. Order the avocado toast at the Hotel Playa Negra restaurant. Eat pizza from La Vida Buena (great thin crust). Have Emilia cook breakfast or dinner (chicken curry was a HUGE hit!!). Have Emilia arrange an in-house massage for you. Walk down to the beach for AMAZING sunset views. Arrange a private boat charter with Ocean Life Costa Rica out of Playa Flamingo. It was hands-down the highlight of our week. Zipline with Black Stallion Eco Park in Tamarindo. Ride ATV’s with 506 transfers and tours in Tamarindo. Don’t: Exchange money. Everywhere takes USD and/or cc’s. Thank you Jon for sharing your amazing house with us. Emilia is a TREASURE and will help you with stocking the house with groceries, making reservations for dinner, transportation, massages etc. A/C works great. Each bedroom and main rooms are individually controlled. The house has a small gym. The house has board games, books, beach towels, pool toys/floats. Bring soap for the showers, shampoo/conditioner with you. There are crabs and hermit crabs everywhere, sometimes in the house! (was fun to catch and release!) We didn’t cook much but the kitchen is well-stocked.
