Walk out your door and across the street to the most beautiful beaches in the world. Gulf Winds East owns 150 feet of private beach with a gazebo on the beach and a pool for the guests. Unit #4 has a view of the beach and a balcony for viewing the sunsets. The unit was completely renovated. Granite counter tops throughout. Each bedroom has a full bathroom (with the master bath having two sinks). Enjoy viewing the gulf from the master bedroom (in bed or on the patio).
Gulf Winds East is walking distance to several restaurants, such as Captain Dave's, Pompano Joe's, Crab Trap and Whales Tail. We are very close to outlet mall and much more.

Very nice place. Have stayed at Gulf Winds East numerous times. This is the 1st time up front. This is also the 1st time with kitchen and living room upstairs. Kinda cool that way. 1st time to hand catch a puffer fish. Captured just a few tar balls to keep as a keep sake. The water was still fine. Capt. Daves, Joes Crab shack, Harbor walk, Bass Pro shops, Silver Sands mall. Great view from the upper balcony. Spent a lot of hours up there just talking and looking. If the economy does not totally collapse (or my job), would like to stay in this one again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Just stayed here. We've been going to Destin for years and have stayed in GWE frequently. I think this unit was recently renovated because it is simply beautiful. All tile floors, granite counter tops, new furniture. Very well done and it costs the same to stay here as the other older units. Will defintely be back! Our favorite part was sitting on the deck and watching the waves while having breakfast.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.
