Great location- close to everything. This was a great place for our teenagers. We missed the noisy college Spring break week so the area was pretty quiet which we really enjoyed. The accomodations were perfect but a little smaller than the pictures show.
Owner response:I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves. Thank you for choosing our place for your stay!

My time in San Diego was an awesome extended stay ( 1 Month ). The weather was incredible, the Dolpins showed up everyday, and the surfers were everywhere. The condo was sooo comfortable, like being home, everything I needed and more !! The rest of the building was full every weekend and everyone was courteous and quite all the times. I hope we were as well ? My family was so impressed with the location and the views, I will be booking your condo next year and many more to come..... Thanks so much, Liam

This property is fairly nice and comfortable. View is excellent! Our kids enjoyed staring at the ocean every morning. The owner was very nice to work with. The unit was probably an 8/10 on the cleanliness scale. Housekeeping missed some sand spots on the floor and some of the kitchen utencils needed additional cleaning. Overall the place was clean. The owner has tried to be as family friendly as possible. The prblemis the building is a nightmare for families using strollers. Even though there is an elevator, there are still unavoidable steps. I ran into a mom also using a stroller and she was definitely frusterated with the difficulty she too was having. The partying in the area, including within the building, was too much for us, especially on the weekends. We would stay further south next time for sure. It would have been nice to have a balcony, but atleast we had the view! Basically, it's a nice place with a nice view, just not ideal for families with young kids, most others would likely be satisfied here.
Owner response:As you can imagine, when you're as close to the beach as we are, sand can get past our cleaning lady. We go to great lengths/expense to provide white bath towels, clean bed linens, and more. We have strict partying policies in place for the building, which can only be enforced if we are notified. We have had many families with young children that have thoroughly enjoyed the condo ammenities and location. There are two steps up into the entry of the building, which can be an issue if you're trying to bring in an occupied stroller. Some people prefer condos south of the roller coaster, but there isn't as much to do within walking distance. Another option is a place on the court streets or bay side. You won't be right on the ocean, and will almost always have to deal with a few steps into a place, but it's usually a more quiet area. I'm sorry you didn't feel this was a five-star stay!

The home could not be located in a more beautiful or convenient area of PB. Amazing sunsets and calming ocean views from the front room allowed for great people watching! The home is cozy and appointed with most of ammentities than you could need / want /use. There was plenty of space to spread out and lots of seating at the kitchen bar/counter. Great for entertaining. The bed rooms were spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor seating area and BBQ worked great and allowed for fun evening events and lounging during the day. Everything within the unit itself was as expected for a higher end beach rental. The owners of the property were great to work with and easy to communicate with during our stay. With all that said however, if you are not familiar with the general area of Pacific Beach you must know a few key things about the location of this property and the building itself BEFORE you rent. Pacific Beach is a very active and "lively community" year round. By this I mean that you should/ can anticipate noise, parties, traffic and general ruckus around you at almost all times of the day. This is not a good place for those who want quiet serenity; even during the off peak season. Inside the common areas of the condo complex as well as along the boardwalk and back alley were very noisy almost 24/7- but we knew what we were getting into, so this was not a deal breaker for us. If you are looking for that romantic get away or wanting to retreat with some solitude, you might consider staying on the bayside or North PB for a less traveled more intimate area. Parking is allocated for your car, however be aware that the alleys in PB fill up with people who park illegally all of the time. This poses a challenge for either pulling into or out of the spaces dedicated for this unit. There were several nights, where I just ended parking down the street b/c we could not get our car into our spot b/c there were people double parked everywhere. All in all, this was a pleasant experience that could have gone south very fast had the management company and the oweners of this unit not been so easy to work with and receptive to our needs when ever the noise became too much for us. All it took was a quick phone call to remedy the situation. This is a great home for a family or group of friends looking to truly experience the life-style of PB. Thanks again for a wonderful retreat for the family!

The pictures and description are extremely accurate. The condo is spotless and all new. It is very comfortable, convenient and centrally located on Mission Beach. We ate all our meals in and the kitchen was a dream. It truly is on the beach. Just cross the boardwalk and you are on the sand with just a few more steps to the water. We kept the windows open the entire time to hear the waves. When we expressed a few concerns to the owner (wi-fi, bbq), she immediately responded and fixed the problem within a few hours and welcomed our feedback. We greatly appreciated her attention to our needs and she was very gracious in accommodating a special request.

The location of the condo is right on the beach in Mission Beach...can't get better than this. My communication with the owner was very smooth and easy. The only thing I would add would be wireless internet and a DVD player in the living room. I would stay here again.
Owner response:We have internet service now!

This was a great place to stay with our kids who are both under age two. It is very safe and terrific for the active family. The boardwalk is right in front and the location is right in the middle of North Mission Beach. Just a short walk to the Pier and to Belmont Park. We were lucky enough to be there during the full moon and it was beautiful. The owners were very gracious and friendly. I would use this place again.

Beautiful weather, fabulous view, great location. We couldn't have had a nicer week. Enjoyed the local restaurants: World Famous, Joe's Crab Shack, Saska's, The Green Flash, as well as Su Casa in LaJolla and lunch at "The Dell". Thanks for your welcome basket of goodies...much appreciated after a 9 1/2 hour drive!

We had a great family vacation at your condo. My daughter enjoyed the Wildlife Park, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and of course the front yard! She spent a lot of time freeing the seaweed back to the ocean. We were really surprised about the quality of the local restaurants for an extremely reasonable price. We enjoyed some great meals, and ate two nights at the Thai restaurant. The gym is very close and worth the weekly membership fee. The weather turned out to be cooperative and lent itself to be one of the best family vacations yet.

Our family had an incredible week here at the condo. The location and all it came equipped with made for an unfortettable vacation(despite the rainy weather). We all look forward to our next trip to San Diego in hopes to combine a stay in this condo with warm weather and sunshine. Thank you for everything!

Hi Melody! We had a wonderful visit. Everything was better than we ever imagined. Not one complaint. Thanks for everything. I have forwarded your website to about a dozen friends because we were so happy with your place. It's so homey. This will be a new tradition in our family. We will talk to you again next year. Thanks for everything again.

Ken & Melody: We had a wonderful time staying here at your "Home at the Beach". Our boys also had fun using the beach toys. My 4-year old loved the big shovel. The view has been fantastic, and we loved watching the dolphins through the window, and just watching the waves. You truly have a fabulous place here with lots of extras. I am sure we will return.

What a wonderful and warm home you have put together here. Truly an amazing place to spend a weekend. We, too, enjoyed the dolphins and the boardwalk, while the sound of the waves, especially at night, was my favorite. Thank you for the thoughtful extras like the first-class entertainment and electronics, and that awesome bed in the master bedroom. We will be back again!

What a great treat to spend a sunny week in January on the beach. The condo was fabulous, a great place for the family, comfortable beds, a great view, and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. The boys loved playing with the sand toys and getting ice cream on the boardwalk. The big-screen TV was a hit too. We loved seeing the dolphins from our window, and we even spotted a whale the other morning! We hope to return sometime.
