Heavenly 7 Retreat and Cedar Creek Lodge both have a rustic, up-north feel with luxury amenities that will make you feel right at home. Forget about stress...treat yourself to a true haven of tranquility.
Our three bedroom, 2.5 bath luxury rustic cabins feature all the comforts of home and more. All in a wooded setting with a pool and lake access. Get away from it all and curl up with a good book next to the 22'' soaring stone fireplace. Or stay in touch with the outside world with five tv's and high-speed wifi internet access. Fully furnished for your comfort...towels and linens included. Just bring your suitcase and your spirit of adventure. The custom kitchens are fully stocked for all your catering and entertaining needs. Each cabin sleeps up to eight or rent both for groups of up to 16.
When you walk into the main living area, you immediately will notice the grand, vaulted ceilings and unique appointments that make these cabins special. Curl up on the leather couches in front of the towering, 22' tall stone fireplace with a good book, or just relax with friends and family. Overlooking the great room, there's an expanded loft with futon, another TV/DVD combo, desk, and plenty of room to stretch out. For those who wish to stay in touch with the outside world, there is a 40' or larger LCD HDTV in the main area with Cable, DVD, and stereo system. High-speed wireless internet service is also complimentary during your stay, as is FREE local calls. We also provide you with Towels & Linens!
Our retreats were given special touches not found in other cabins, such as a romantic main floor master suite featuring a queen size bed and sliding glass door which opens to the screened-in back porch. The master bath is appointed with Spa-quality amenities such as a Garden or jacuzzi tub, his & hers designer sinks, and a large, separate shower. Also, to make you feel right at home, are his and hers closets, a 6 drawer dresser, TV/DVD combo, and ceiling fan.
Heavenly 7 Retreat features 2 upstairs bedrooms, both with queen/full log bunk beds, full-size closets, and flat screen TV w/DVD player.
Cedar Creek Lodge features an upstairs bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunks (sleeps 4). The second bedroom features a queen-size bed. Both have log dressers and full-size closets. Both have flat screen tv's with dvd players.
The expanded loft sleeps 2 more on a futon sofa and has games, a desk, TV/DVD, and 2 ceiling fans. Located upstairs is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo. An additional half-bath is located on the main level.
The custom kitchen is fully stocked for all your catering and entertaining needs. Both cabins feature custom premium countertops, stainless appliances, coffee maker, and so much more! Dine inside in the dining room, or outside at the table located on the back porch! Located just off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience.
Both cabins feature unlimited access to the heated association pool (seasonally available), which is located a very short walk away! Goshorn Lake is just a few steps farther down the boardwalk where you can cast a line or row your kayak in peace and quiet. Bring the bikes to take the new bike path into Saugatuck. Bring some steaks and your appetite and grill out on the stainless gas grill!

PAYMENTS: We accept payment by Personal Check, Money Order, or Major Credit Card. Payment of 50% of the rental fee is required within 7 days of making your reservations. Your prompt payment is appreciated, as we are unable to guarantee a hold on any property longer than 7 days without payment. Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a confirmation letter. Final payment, including taxes, fees and security deposit is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Upon receipt of your final payment, we will send you a final confirmation showing you are paid in full, along with check-in instructions.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations, for any reason, are handled as follows:
- Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival: Refund of all moneys received less $150 administration fee.
- Cancellation 15 to 30 days prior to arrival: Refund of 50% gross lodging rate hold deposit less $150 administration fee.
- Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival: Forfeiture of all rental proceeds. Security deposit will be refunded.
- Checks returned for any reason will be charged a $50 administration fee, and your reservation will be canceled.
- To protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances, please contact your personal insurance agent to inquire about travel insurance.

The cabin is very nice. It is brand new and looks excellent. We used the cabin for a swim meet weekend and it worked out great. The amount of dishes etc worked out really well. The washer and dryer were great. There are five nice flat screen tvs. I hope to visit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband & I stayed at Cedar Creek Lodge for 2 nights in early March. Making the reservation with Lori was very straight-forward & simple. She was easy to work with, friendly, & helpful. As this was the off season, she offered us a slightly reduced rate which was much appreciated. Upon our arrival to the cabin, we found it to be exactly as depicted in the pictures on the website. The knotty pine interior provided a rustic & warm feel, but the amenities were thoroughly modern & convenient. The interior decorations were the perfect blend of rustic log cabin charm with the nautical/beach flavor of the Saugatuck area. Everything was clean, thoughtfully appointed, & we even found a yummy goodie bucket with popcorn & M&M's for our enjoyment while watching movies. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware & place settings - all we needed to supply was food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, experienced no problems whatsoever, & would gladly return if we have the chance. Definitely recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Cedar Creek Lodge was perfect for a winter weekend escape! It was the perfect amount of space for two couples (plus there's a bunk room and a futon if you have kids or more people). We spent time relaxing at the cabin in front of the gas fireplace and also enjoyed an afternoon of shopping, wine tasting, and dinner in Saugatuck. We loved all the decorative touches, gorgeous log furniture, and things like shampoo in the showers and supplies in the pantry. It even smelled "cabin-y" when we walked in! Of the dozen or so houses we have rented for various trips, it is at the top of the list as far as being the nicest, cleanest, etc. We are already thinking about coming back next winter for a long weekend. Many thanks to the owners for being so great to work with and sharing their great cabin with us!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I took our two daughters to this wonderful cabin for a quiet and relaxing family getaway. We were impressed with the owners for the very first time they responded to our inquiry. The cabin is beautiful. I mean, simply gorgeous. The decor was comfortable and appealing. The master bedroom area downstairs made in home date nights very easy. Our two little girls slept upstairs, resting comfortably in each bedroom. The loft area was great fun. We did bring toys withi us, and I think we will bring a few more next time. Plenty of things for the 5+ crowd, though. Of course there is always The beautiful outdoors to explore so we were never bored for one bit. Our three year old remembers taking nature walks around the property and asks if we can go back regularly. The snow falling around us made the whole experience so magical. We were very happy to find a stand mixer, which made baking very easy. The open kitchen allowed for plenty of interaction while making home made hot coco and watching movies alongside the fireplace. We ended up buying a few kitchen staples at the nearby grocery. Very convenient. We did get to town to the local coffee shop (we highly recommend buying coffee there to make in the cabin....Delish!!!!!!) a few times-what a treat. Wow. Fabulous beverages and lots of non-dairy choices. We can't wait to go back. It was absolutely wonderful!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Lori was great and expeditious in accommodating our group for the cabin. The cabin itself was delightful -- clean, brand new feeling, and spacious. Everything we could need was at the cabin (towels, sheets, extra blankets, etc.). Parking is a little difficult if you have a big group and more than two cars, but an overflow lot less than 0.5 miles away allows for additional parking. All in all, the cabin was a lovely retreat for our group over Thanksgiving weekend. We highly recommend it! Amazing weekend I just had! The cabin looks better than the pictures even do justice. My friends and I have been doing a yearly getaway every fall, and decided this year to give Michigan a shot over Wisconsin. When browsing, the Heavenly 7 Retreat looked by far the best, and it didn't disappoint. By far the roomiest and cleanest cabin I've been to. All my questions were answered promptly, especially since our trip this year came together last minute with everyone's schedules. A member of the party forgot his keys on leaving and was able to get the keys shipped back. Above and beyond service! The area around the camp is very nice, several small quaint towns nearby. There is even a fairly large grocery store about 10 minutes away(Family Fare) for all your needs. There are smaller stores nearby if you don't need the all inclusive shopping experience. If you're an amateur astronomer too, like I, the stars definitely shine around here. Got two clear nights and a view of the Leonids. Overall though, I will definitely come back and recommend this cabin. After hopping around and trying different cabins I think my party and I agreed that it would be hard to beat this. Again, an amazing weekend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.

I was looking for a luxury vacation house for my family vacation around this area. I am so glad to found this vacation house. It was very nice clean cozy vacation house. My kids loved fire place and good location also. This owner has excellent followup service so I had a good feeling renting this vacation house. I'll rent this vacation place again. Heavenly 7 retreat is simply gorgeous! The cabin is well maintained, very clean, and comes equipped with everything you need just like being at home. I invited 7 of my girlfriends for a weekend get-away and couldn't been more happier with this decision. About the owner: King, Lori, Lucas and Michelle love to travel, and visiting our cabin in Saugatuck is one of our favorite places to be! We love the rustic, homey atmosphere. We enjoy spending time in all the quaint shops, art galleries, and wonderful restaurants in town. We have yet to have a bad meal there!
Why the Owner Chose Saugatuck:
We love nature and wanted a special place to get away. When we saw this cabin, we knew it was special. The former owners built all the cabins in Kingfisher Cove and this one they built especially for themselves. They got creative and designed this one to be over the top! It is a rustic atmosphere with luxury amenities.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Heavenly 7 Retreat happens to be handicapped accessible on the main floor with a ramp and 36' door openings. The awesome shower with multiple body jets can be rolled into. Each bedroom has a queen bed and Cable TV and the loft fold out bed is queen size too. The extra half bath on the main floor is great when entertaining guests.
