Enjoy our private freestanding Cottage Under the Oaks, nestled between the sea and the mountains in the heart of the lush coastal community of Montecito. Find out why we have repeat guests. Upon opening the front door you can immediately relax and enjoy the quiet and fresh air. The living room is furnished with high quality designer furnishings including a comfortable leather sofa, and granite topped coffee table. Featuring 16 foot open beam ceilings, a gas fireplace, and French doors which lead you to a private deck overlooking the seasonal creek, you can sit back and enjoy a good movie or book.
The Master Bedroom is quite large, and has a California King pillow top bed, with quality cotton linens. Down Comforter and Pillows complete your comfort of this private oasis looking out to the backyard and oak trees. Furnished with an Antique Pine Armoir, and rocking chair, and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has clean tile floor, with vanity and tub/shower combination.
The kitchen is fully equipped and also stocked with various spices and condiments for your cooking pleasure. All the rooms are generously sized and the cottage is equipped with everything you need for a restful vacation. There is a dining room table or enjoy the patio table on the backyard deck.
Open the front door and you can be on the hiking trails leading into the Sana Ynez Mountains. Pristine beaches are only three miles down the road, the best in the area, both Miramar Beach and Hammonds Meadows. Unique shops and boutiques, art galleries, and great restaurants are all within a five minute drive. There are countless opportunities for sightseeing and recreation.
The quaint village of Montecito with its own shops and restaurants is only two miles away. The Four Seasons Hotel and the San Ysidro Ranch are both nearby. Downtown Santa Barbara is a ten minute drive away, with shops restaurants, museums, and the theater. Santa Barbara boasts the best climate in California, temperate year round. You can stroll the beach or visit the Incredible Botanic Gardens. This cottage is on a Montecito Estate and is secluded from the main residence.
