Rosemary and Fir Tree Cottages are situated in a quiet secluded forest setting where you can slow down, unwind and tune in to the natural surroundings. There are lovely gardens and native woodlands to stroll through. The cottages are splendid home bases for exploring the Point Reyes National Seashore, Tomales Bay and Samuel P. Taylor Parks, with their miles of lovely beaches, hiking trails, profuse spring wildflowers, as well as world-class bird watching and whale watching. They can be rented together or separately.
Fir Tree Cottage~
In Fir Tree Cottage you are greeted by an open living area with cathedral ceilings and a front wall of unique windows which view a grove of fir trees for which the cottage is named. The main room is furnished with antiques, oriental rugs and comfortable furniture. There is a woodstove for heat and for atmosphere. Opening off the living area is a fully-equipped kitchen with its own deck for picnics and for sunning. The bath has a tub/shower.
Up the curved stairway are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a twin roll-away, and the other has a king bed. There is a queen futon couch in the main room for extra guests. Sleeps up to seven guests.
Fir Tree Cottage Amenities: woodstove, phone, TV (no cable), DVD, CD player, board games, books, full kitchen, microwave, coffee grinder, expresso maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes and cooking utensils provided, linens provided, washer & dryer, hot tub, gas grill. We are a Green establishment.
Fir Tree Cottage Rates: $295.00/ two persons, $25.00 additional person/$10.00 children. All organic breakfast makings $12.00 per person per day. 11% county room tax. Rosemary Cottage~
Rosemary Cottage is a romantic French country-style pièd-a-terre, which gives you the feeling of peace and comfort.
You'll have this 2-room cottage with deck and garden all to yourselves; it can be rented along with Fir Tree Cottage. The cottage, located in a sunny, secluded spot adjacent to the Point Reyes National Seashore, has a tranquil forest canyon view. Main living space with a cathedral ceiling, many windows, skylight, antiques, oriental rugs, artwork and French fabrics create an inviting ambiance. Well-equipped kitchen has European tile and wood counters. The woodstove functions as an open fireplace and the main heat source. The private bath has a tub/shower. Sleeps up to four guests.
There is a hot tub for soaking under the stars in the garden. Families are welcome. We are a Green establishment.

- Pet Friendly : Dogs only: please wash and groom your dog just prior to arrival. We provide a dog basket with sheets and towels to cover beds and furniture if your pet likes the comfort of home. Sand and dirt, hard of the rugs, should be removed before allowing dog into the cottage. There are vacumns and brooms in each cottage.
