This was my wife's and I second time to Austin and we again had a great time. Our experience this time was greatly enhanced by Tracie's home and use of the bikes that came with it. Austin is such a bike friendly town I actually only used the rental car we had one time during the entire visit. In hindsight I wish I wouldn't have rented a car. The home was cozy and perfect for a couple. The owner Tracie was also quite nice and was available the one time we had a question. I would highly recommend this property and love Austin.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Very clean home in a convenient location, Tracie keeps this home spotless. It was fun to wake up to the Rooster crowing....I felt like I was home on the farm.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

My stay was completely hassle-free and easy. Comfortable and clean accommodation, good location, nice set-up. Fair value. No suggestions for improvements, would do it again, and would recommend to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a wonderful get away!!! Tracie, your house is lovely, cozy, & in a great area of Austin. We love the east side. It is the place to be these days. We enjoyed our bike ride by the lake & walking around the neighborhood to eat local. I must say that I now want my own chicken coop. The chickens were so much fun to check in on everyday. Thank you again Tracie, for sharing your special Austin place with us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We came to Austin for our annual Aust Labor Day Cup soccer tournament. Every year we stay at a hotel with about 20 other teams... screaming kids running up and down the halls all night- NO THANK YOU! We decided to do something different this year. VRBO has become our friend the last few vacations we've taken so we decided to try it for this weekend trip. Cute little house, very conveniently located. You allowed us to stay even when it was inconvenient for you and we REALLY appreciate it. We've had no problems at all. Love the towels- big and fluffy! About the owner: I've lived in Austin for over 10 years now and love everything this city has to offer. I'm interested in sustainable living and have really taken to the urban farming movement. As a result of my interest in sustainability, I founded Austin's Annual Funky Chicken Coop Tour, which had its first successful tour in 2009.
Why the Owner Chose Downtown:
I chose Austin because of all the great outdoor activities and the live music scene, which is why I chose to purchase this particular property back in 2004. This location has much to offer... very close to downtown, 2 blocks from the hike and bike trail and Lady Bird Lake, great coffee shops and restaurants, live music, you name it... it's here.
