  Stayed four nights in February. The place is extremely well built, laid out, and appealing to the eye both inside and out. Excellent "cabin feel" with outstanding views. The owners obviously take great pride in this cabin.....it was very clean, everything worked just fine, and all the little extras are there to ensure nothing is lacking. Paved road all the way up to the cabin. Used it as a home base for day trips to NOC (Nantahala), Franklin, and Fontana Lake area. Great places to eat in Bryson City, and you should definitely do a riverside lunch at the Nantahala Outdoor Center only 20 minutes away. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

  My husband and I took our family to Longview Cabin. The reviews are what helped us pick this cabin and everyone is right! We were hoping for snow and we got some. The kids had a blast and the view of the Smoky Mountains is simply breathtaking. We will definitley be back, next time in the summer for different activities. Don't pass this cabin up!

  We had such a wonderful time at Longview cabin! The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It accommodated our group of ten quite comfortably. The kids enjoyed spending time downstairs playing ping pong, and the adults enjoyed spending time on the porch swing! We went to Bryson City to take the kids on the Polar Express.. if you're looking into doing that with your kids, DO IT! We are very much looking forward to staying at Longview again in the future. The cabin was amazing with views to die for. The only complaint we had the entire weekend was on Sunday when it was time to go home. The kids got upset because they weren't ready to leave the cabin!!

  After 34 years of cooking for my entire family we decided to bring the immediate family to Bryson City. We had a wonderful weekend. After hiking 4 miles in Deep Creek that Pecan pie is free of guilt! The cabin worked well for the 8 of us. The fireplace is wonderful and the views can't be beat. On Friday my family went to the Swain County State Football Playoffs and cheered on the local team. Saturday we drove to Asheville to do some Christmas shopping. The home is well equipped for cooking and the owner is very efficient with rental. This is our 2nd visit in 3 years and my husband said that all he wants for birthdays and holidays are gift certificates to the cabin!

  Spectacular views from all directions. This cabin was very private and was amazingly nestled far into and up the mountain, there was not another soul in sight. Nights we're wonderfully crisp and cool as we slept with the windows open. We fully appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and amenities. Cabin is beautiful and laid out well; bed was comfortable, Baths and kitchen upscale. Did not get a chance to use the pool table downstairs but thought it would be great when we invite grandchildren here to join us next year. Lots to do in the area ,if you can pull yourself away from the comforts of the cabin. We found ourselves venturing out to the small towns in the area and enjoyed Whitewater rafting down the Nantahala River. Enjoyed experiencing the Canopy ziplining through the forest... This cabin will sleep 9 people comfortably with open kitchen/dining/livingroom area to entertain all guests and not feel like you are stepping all over each other. The owners were very pleasant to work with and accommodated our needs. Thank you Denny family for sharing your lovely cabin with us.

  Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! The cabin is well stocked with all of the amenities of home! It has a nice open floor plan which made getting our son's wheelchair around in it much easier than other cabins we have stayed at. The view was awesome and we will surely stay here again!! Thanks so much for being easy to work with, for additional information about area attractions and an overall, great experience!

  Amazing view of the mountains. Our 5 children loved the space of the home, the view of the mountains, playing pool, sipping cofee while doing devotions on the large open decks and playing games in the open living room. After dinner one night we even saw a bobcat walk up the mountain behind the house. We all really enjoyed the home.

  I cannot tell you just how pleased we were with this home. We have taken a vacation with family coming from different directions for three years now and have not been displeased with our former choices, but Longview was just exactly what we needed. It was a very nice home with all the amenties you would need. We had children with us, so the ping pong table was a plus and the secure decks a relief. The decks provide wonderful gatherings and conversation, and the whole visit was beyond enjoyable. We plan to return to Longview next summer and stay longer! Thank you for a most enjoyable vacation!!!!!! I needed it!!!!!

  The owner was very nice and easy to work with. We had a nice long phone call prior to renting and our deposit was returned promptly. The listing description and photos were very accurate but the photos can do justice to the amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains. You need to see that for yourself! We found the location to be very convenient--just far enough from Bryson City to feel like you are away from it all but an easy 10 to 15 minute drive into town. The location was perfect for our hiking ventures; the main activity of our vacation. We did many hikes in the Deep Creek area as our home base and ventured as far west as Fontana Dam and Joyce Kilmer Forest which were a bit over an hour. To the east we ventured up to Smokemont area of the GSMNP several times and up to Balsam Mountain which were about 30 minutes away. Many rafting outfitters are very close by and we did Duckies one day. There are several easy access points for swimming in Fontana Lake. So the location is a hiker's paradise. The property itself was very clean (really immaculate), well organized, and very cozy for relaxing at the end of a tiring day. Our family had many round robin pool tournaments which we enjoyed very much on the pool table downstairs. We would definitely recommend this very special property to a friend or relative and hope to return ourselves some time in the future.

  Our stay at Longview Cabin was truly wonderful! The location of the cabin was ideal for all activities from Sliding Rock, whitewater rafting (on two different rivers), shopping, dinning and more... The cabin itself was extremely well organized, very clean and well equipped with literally everything you need. When friends and family saw the pictures from our trip they all thought that we had used photo shop to add a backdrop in the pictures. The view really is that amazing! The owner sent tons of information on the area prior to our visit. Both my husband and I work in the hospitality and tourism industry in Florida and I would, without hesitation, recommend this cabin to everyone. We have already talked about planning a trip back!
