Enjoy the afternoon sun and tropical breeze from your covered, screened lanai overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Watch the boats and kayaks as they return from a day on the surf or use the available boat dock (22') at your back door for personal boat storage and fishing. Complete your day by watching the sun set on the gulf from your lanai or the beach only a 7 minute walk away.

Castaway Cove was a wonderful condo with very nice updated furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, beach chairs/umbrella and beach towels! Being a corner unit it was so bright due to all the windows and the views of the Lagoon with the paddle boarders, kayaks and boats were so fun to watch! This was a beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable 1st floor condo. The condo is located at the very south end of Siesta Key so it was very quiet and peaceful yet just a comfortable bike ride (Be sure to rent bikes!) to the beaches and village. The kitchen was spacious and it even encouraged us to buy fresh fish and actually cook a few times instead of eat out every night. Since we had a dock we rented a motor boat for the day to tool around the bay. If we were to return to Siesta Key I would want to rent this unit again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had a great time at this beautiful condo. The owners were so responsive to our inquiries and all the ammenties could not have been better. The conndo is perfect and felt like home immediaely. We walked to restaurants and to Turtle Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but we were just a short drive to the shops and restaurants in Siesta Key village and Crescent Beach. So much fun to watch he boats amd kyaks going by. We did not want to leave!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My husband and I, and our 2 house cats, spent a fabulous month at this beautifully appointed, end unit condo. It was very clean upon our arrival, and well stocked with everything you would need to feel like you were in your own home - dishes, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, beach toys, towels, etc. Since it was so perfectly furnished, we prepared most of our meals at the condo, and ate on the screened lanai, overlooking beautiful Turtle Lagoon. The area is very quiet and the neighbors who live in the 8 condo unit were so kind and friendly during our entire stay. Our only regret is that the condo wasn't available February or March because we would have loved to have rented it for the entire 3 months. Thank you Rich and Cathy for making January, 2013 our best yet in Florida!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Very nice condo. Photos didn't do justice. Everything you need is there. Lovely view of lagoon. Bed is very comfortable. Also very nice towels. At dead end of Midnight Pass so very quiet. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again. You won't be disapointed.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

JUST got back from Siesta Key. It was wonderful. The condo was better than described. Clean, with wonderful ameties such as ICE CREAM in the ref. which made our 5 yr. old VERY HAPPY. We enjoyed the safety features also. Tub rails in the bathroom and a flashlite in the socket were the little things that made us feel so welcome. The view from the laini was of boat docks, people sailing out to the Gulf for a day of much needed relaxation. It was also great for reading, relaxing or just enjoying our chance to spend time with loved ones. Places to dine in the area were quite nice, however we did enjoy breakfast at home. Sunsets at the beach, especially Siesta Beach, were breathtaking. We recommend this condo for a wonderful, restful vacation. I really enjoyed my stay at the Lagoon Condo on Turtle Beach. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. They have supplied the condo with everything that you could possibly need while on vacation. I will be back again. My husband and I said that this ranks as one of the best vacations that we have taken. Thanks to Richard and his wife for a wonderful time and for sharing their home with us!! Great place to stay. Nice, quiet and clean. Everything was as promised. The kitchen was well equiped and modern. Close walk to the beach and easy to get to shopping and dining. Would stay again without a doubt. Would like to see beach towels provided and perhaps folding beach chairs instead of the bag chairs.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.
