  What an incredible place! I rented the condo for some rest and relaxation and couldn't have been more pleased. The location was perfect--steps from the beach and across the street from a salt marsh sanctuary with walking trails. The condo is well-stocked and proved to be the perfect spot for my visiting family members. The owner even provides boogie boards and beach chairs and all you need for the perfect get-a-way! I would highly recommend this retreat!

  We had a lovely week long stay for spring break in this condo. Myself and 2 children- location was perfect, just barely off the beach (don't even need to cross the road) but wonderful views and perfect access. Kids came and went to beach easily and safely throughout the day. Condo had everything I needed, wifi, laundry, beach equipment, equipped kitchen- and the fireplace! The owner has clearly made an effort to anticpate what her guests needs might be and provide for them. Clean and well maintained. The beach and salt marsh are fabulous, we saw all manner of wildlife and were in and out of the ocean water (even in March). Amazing sunsets! Carpinteria is a CA beach town from 40 years ago which I loved- low key, clean and friendly. We saw all manner of kayakers, paddle boarders, surfers, swimmers (training for a triathalon?) on our beach. Amtrak runs through Carpinteria (convenient stop for visiting nearby Santa Barbara) but you cannot hear the train from this condo. I will absolutely return to this condo if the opportunity for another CA beach vacation comes up.

  I met up with a few girls from highschool for a little reunion, and this house was perfect. We loved the fireplace, quick access to the beach, quiet but lovely downtown, and fully supplied kitchen. We cooked at home and went out for meals, went on long walks on the beach, and went to Santa Barbara for an afternoon. It was just perfect. Next time, I'd love to go in the summer and take advantage of the boogie boards and great balcony!

  Stayed here first week of July 2012 and loved the proximity to the beach as well as the boogie boards/wetsuits that were available for use. The huge patio was awesome place to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine after a long day on the beach. We packed the car and walked to town for groceries at the Vons. Also took the Amtrack to Santa Barbara on those gloomy days.

  We had a great time staying at this condo. There are plenty of towels and blankets so don't bother packing any. I was very happy with the inside washer and dryer combo. This property is well decorated, and we enjoyed the fireplace very much. Both my husband and I slept well on the king sized bed.

  We had a lovely stay! The beach is steps from the condo! Great view of the ocean from the patio! Very clean and close to everything! I highly recommend visiting Carpinteria and this VRBO. Thank you Meg for being so accommodating! We loved our stay and will definitely be back! THANK YOU!

  Wonderful location just steps to the beach in Carpenteria. Light, bright condo with everything you need. Great deck with table and chairs and views of the marsh and the water. Very well stocked. Small bathroom is through the one bedroom.....downside for those sleeping on the convertible bed in the living room. Great for a weekend stay for 4 even better for a longer stay for 2. Would definitely return.

  I highly recommend this location for a low stress get away! Perfect weather, a beautiful beach outside the door and getting to go to sleep with the sound of the waves. Bring your bikes park your car and everything is within a 5 minute bike ride. We rode the bikes to the Vons market each day for groceries and a dvd rental from the Blockbuster kiosk. Loved having breakfast and dinner on the deck everyday looking out at the ocean. Kayak rentals right across the street for only $15.00 a hour- great deal and a lot of fun! I will definitely go back and i felt that the price was more than reasonable. Thanks Meg!

  We rented this adoriable place end of March/ first of April 2008.We were celerabrating the birthdays of myself, husband, and our 18 year old daughter. Friends & Family came and went during our time there. We ate, played at the beach, walked around town, played games, BBQed,Had a birthday party. The best was morning walks on the beach with fresh hot brewed coffee. We have not stoped talking about it. Checking into going again this year.Beyond highly recomending this little peice of heaven. <3

  We love Carpinteria! The Rental Agent Lynn was wonderful, professional, and very friendly. We live in mountains, and this is a perfect place on the beach to get away. It is private, yet easy access to beach and town. Kitchen fully equipped, needs a little TLC. WE would give it a “5” rating, but the master bed sucks. Should have brought an air mattress. Eating out, been coming to Carp for twelve years, never tried the SPOT, till now: don’t look like much, but the food is GOOD. Esau's Café, friendly, great breakfast, for what its worth we noticed the local PD eats there frequently. Giovanni's, best to go off hours, the place gets pretty busy. Enjoy
