The house is located in a very quite, cute neighborhood. Taking a short walk will bring you to the private beach access point for the neighborhood, parking pass is provided if you have a lot of gear to haul. The open floor plan of the living room/dining rooms(2)/kitchen were very nice and allowed you to interact with everyone. The backyard is great for dogs, as it is fenced in. You are very close to the aquarium, the Carolina Beach boardwalk, Fort Fisher Civil War Musesum/Walking trail, pier, and various other local eating places. Overall the house is great and we really enjoyed our stay there, the only thing better would be to have pool access(apparently its for "homeowners" only and not weekly rental people) as we had a baby that was scared of the ocean/beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Our family spent our vacation in this beautiful home. We had a wonderful time the home was so spacious that we had plenty of room. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room and could even get away to one of the spacious decks if we needed some alone time. The first morning I was on the front deck having my morning cup of coffee and a doe( female deer) came right up between the house and the one next door. That was so exciting to me! I hope that my next vacation will be in this lovely home. Everything is so close, alot to do in walking distance.If you like to walk which we do. The neighborhood was so pretty and quite. Again we throughly enjoyed ourselves.Looking forward to a return stay and building more memories.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
