PRECIOUS VIEW is a SPACIOUS, PEACEFUL RUSTIC RETREAT cabin with a WARM ALL WOODEN CATHERDRAL ceiling and ALL WOODEN walls in the much-sought-after MOUNTAIN SHADOWS RESORT. It is a PERFECT GETAWAY for a ROMANTIC COUPLE or a small family. The large living room has a GAS STONE FIREPLACE, a 42 INCH FLAT SCREEN TV (with premium channels), a DVD player, a POOL TABLE as well as a sofa bed. When one opens the back door, one can get a PEACEFUL VIEW view of the distant mountains as one grills hamburgers on the GAS GRILL on the UPPER DECK.
The master bedroom with a "King size rustic log bed" is on the lower level. This room has a 32 iINCH FLAT SCREEN TV, DVD player, a VCR, a master bathroom with an indoor PRIVATE JETTED JACUZZI as well as a LOWER DECK with a "Relaxing" HOT TUB VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS. A BUNK ROOM with its own TV is available for the younger kids. This bunk room is in the master bedroom so younger kids can be close but still away from the parents.
This WARM, CLEAN,CENTRALLY LOCATED CABIN is only 10 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and close to the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community. If one takes the trolley route which comes by the office down the hill, one can avoid the "parking" hassles of downtown Gatlinburg.
The road to the cabin is PAVED. This Cabin has easy acess to the small FREE RESORT SWIMMING POOL.
Gatlinburg has great places to go for family fun such as skiing, fishing, golfing, shopping, hiking, zip lining, Go-Karting, horseback riding, theaters, camping,and picnicking.

Thank you for lettingus use your vacation home and indeed it was a well needed vavcation. We had come to enjoy Gatlinburg but instead spent most of our time in the cabin because of the peace and quiet. The cabin had all we needed Including the flat screen TVs and pool table. We had been to another cabin a few years earlier and did not expect this 5 star surprise. We did eventually make it to Gatlinburg and it only took a few minutes. The location is excellent with a great view but also close to the main attractions. We highly recommend this cabin and will return.

WE came to this cabin in April and had the best experience. The cabin had a great view which was much better than the pictures showed. In fact, the cabin itself was also bigger than we expected. We spent every evening on the balcony. The cabin was well furnished with all the items we needed and was extremely clean and well maintained. We definitely plan to return soon and I have already recommended this cabin to my friends.

The cabin was okay but not all that we hoped. We were disappointed that the hot water heater is not sufficient to fill the indoor jacuzzi with hot water. By the time it is over the jets, the water is barely lukewarm. We also found the couch/tv combination to be somewhat uncomfortable in that you have to look up and to the side the whole time you are watching television. The fireplace also would not come on while we were there, and the cabin was clean for the most part, but we did continuously find hairs on towels/floor, etc. For the price, we expected more. Additionally, if you are seeking privacy, this is not the cabin for you. You can hear your neighbors in their hot tubs while on the deck in yours.
Owner response:This cabin is part of Mountain Shadows Resort and has a water heater similar to other cabins there but we have asked maintenance to look at solutions. Most couples stay in the master bedroom with the king sized log bed with its own TV and DVD and we placed an extra sofa bed in the living room primarily for older children. The pilot light is now lit so the gas stone fireplace in now working properly. Mountain Shadows Resort is a resort with other cabins nearby but we do have other cabins available which are more secluded. Most guests have been very happy with the cabin, its size, its amenities and its convenience to downtown Gatlinburg.

It had been a long time since we had a vacation together as a family. this cabin was what we needed. it was clean, smelled nice, and had a fully equipt kitchen. the kids liked the bunk beds and tv of their own. we were pleased to learn that we could bring our dog with us too. The wooden ceilings were beautiful, and the king size bed was very comfortable. We didnt have any trouble finding the cabin and it was only 5-10 minute drive to shopping and local activities. the hot tub was very relaxing and the fireplace added a little romance after the kids went to sleep. we've told everyone about the great time we had, and we'll book again soon. thanks...DB

The cabin is wonderful and has all aspects & features of home away from home. Very beautifully done and decorated, I give credit to the home owners for doing just a great job overall. We had a very relaxing time and wished we could have stayed a few days more. What we loved: - Just perfect size for a family of 4 - Nice mountain views from the 2 Balcony areas - Bunk beds loved by kids - Pool table & Air hockey was a great plus - Very close to downtown gatlinburg, especially to the shuttle stop. - Washer/Dryer huge plus - Kitchen's great with all necessary cooking tools
