This lovely 3 bedroom 2 bath pool home is a waterfront beauty. Brand new furnishings will make your holiday enjoyable. You can relax on your covered porch enjoying the soft Bay breezes overlooking your private pool and dock. The porch has 3 ceiling fans and see through shades. Decorated by an interior designer, the home has a large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and 1500 square feet of living space. Full kitchen with granite counter tops. The master suite has a comfortable king bed and dual vanities, a bidet and a 43 inch flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a plush queen bed, TV with DVD player. The 3rd bedroom has two twins-which may also be converted to a King- with a TV with DVD. Full kitchen with granite counter-tops. Dockage can accommodate up to two boats 25 feet long each. In minutes you can be in the Bay. A double kayak is furnished so you can explore these gem like waters. You can fish or swim off your dock or enjoy the refreshing heated pool. This is a fantastic getaway in Paradise.

Our stay at Michelle and Larry's home in Marathon was a truly fantastic event! The home wraps itself around you in warmth and comfort, matched by the friendliness of our hosts. Even though this was our first stay in Marathon, we found getting to the Gulf and Atlantic very easy and took little time. We were able to keep our 28 ft Cat at the dock and had no trouble getting in and out of the canal. We loved location for ease of access either by water or road. When we return to Marathon another stay on Yellowtail with Michelle and Larry as our hosts will be our only choice.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Marathon is a favorite vacation destination for us and this little tresure on the gulf side was ideal. The view was probably the greatest feature not to mention the awesome great room/kitchen area...viiews from every seat! The house is clean and welll maintained and close to everything. Being boat people ourselves it didn"t hurt to have a dock and kayak right there.....wish I had booked it for longer.I would definitely recommend to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Hi Michelle, We really enjoy our stay, the place is beautifull. We were maiking a lot of tours around Florida, we've even went to Naples and Marco. Everglades with airboats and Miami with shopping... Hello Michelle, We have had a wonderful time at your beauiful home. Every sunset out the west window was more breeathtaking than the previous night. We enjoyed sitting out in the mornings and evenings on the deck and the dock worked out great for our boat. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and cooked out on the grill twice. There were 3 manatees that we saw surface in the late afternoon and evening this past 2 days. It was fun to see multiple green iguanas waddling along the the dock on several mornings. The furnishings were beautiful inside and the landscaping makes this a very attractive and comfortable place to vacation. We will certainly recommend it to our friends. About the owner: My husband loves to dive at Sombrero Reef. It has been our dream to have a home where we can do all of the outside activities year round that we love to do such as diving, snorkeling, biking, kayaking and walking. My position changed with my company recently and I work completely virtually- or totally from home on the computer. Now we can work from here occasionally with this View!
Why the Owner Chose Marathon:
We chose Marathon because of Sombrero Reef, my husband thinks it is the best diving in the United States. Marathon also has grocery stores, a Home Depot and lots of restaurants but is not as crowded or expensive as Key West. Many of the Keys are isolated from just even grocery stores and restaurants. Here, they are just minutes away from our home. Things you really don't think about when you are looking from afar in a cold wintery environment!
