My wife and I took our son down to Destin for his 21st birthday. We did an extended weekend. This property was just perfect. First, the upstairs loft bedroom gave him some personal "space"--while providing some seperation on the other end of the unit for my wife and I. Second, the very large living room (much bigger than can be captured in the pictures!) was a great place to 'meet up'--watch the football games on Saturday--grab some snacks. Along with lots of personal touches, the best thing was the location, location, location! We could be on the beach with our toes in the sand in 5 minutes! Because we were staying in the Seascape complex, there was a restroom available just steps off the sand. Beach service was available at a reasonable price--as was food/drink from the Whale's Tale bar/grill. We would consider this a FIRST OPTION for our future trips to the Gulf and would not hesitate to recommend the property to friends and family members.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
