I've lived in WA my whole life and never knew there was such a beautiful beach so close to Seattle! The house is lovely, very nicely and comfortably furnished. Light and bright, fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Southern exposure right on the Puget Sound. We had intended to use as a home base to explore the Penninsula but found that we loved being there so much we rarely left. Morning coffee on the sunny deck, daily beach walks, relaxing in the sand and of course nightly bon fires made the days fly by. We are coming back this year with no plans of exploring but just relaxing and enjoying the beach and charm of Indianola.
Owner response:Thanks for the review, we are happy to have you back!!

My family has rented the house for three years in a row. We come back every year because the house, amenities, and location are perfect. The house is located on a sandy, south facing beach which is fairly unusual for a puget sound property. The house has a comfortable, open layout with a recently remodeled kitchen that includes a Miele automatic espresso machine. The owners gave us use of their kayaks, a canoe, and boat with outboard motor. These are all available directly outside the house on the beach. Our kids loved fishing, finding shells and other creatures at low tide. Indianola is a nice community as well. It's a great place and highly recommend it.
Owner response:Thank you for the review. Everything is still accurate, but the boats are no longer available. You may bring your own kayaks or canoes to the property.

A wonderful property, excellent location with your own bit of beach and great views. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly want. There are doors from the living area and main bedroom out to the deck with its views, a great place to eat or read, you can sit and watch the herons and boats go by. The canoe and kayaks were fantastic our sons loved going out in them and Lee couldnt have been a better host, on a dull day he even brought DVDs round for the kids to watch. He also lent us his little boat. Overall a FANTASTIC place i would recommend it to everyone. It feels like a home not just a holiday house.
Owner response:Thank you for the review; everything is still accurate, but the canoe and kayaks are no longer available. You may bring your own to the property. Lee now lives down the street, Mike is the current host.
