Great family vacation house. Four bedrooms and two baths, with a gated fenced yard going all around the house. Even though you are only 1 mile from historic downtown, you are on a low traveled road and about 200 feet from the Hot Springs National park mountain property, so it is very quiet morning day or night. Being close to everything is very important when you are in Hot Springs, this house fits the bill perfectly.
The corner lot gives you privacy. A main TV.dish network in the fireplace main room and you have TV in one of the bedrooms. Very safe, family friendly neighborhood. This house is an acceptable place to stay. Quiet neighborhood. It could definitely use some maintenance. Fairly clean except for dusting light fixtures, under the beds, and other out of the way places. Old house, if you like paneling, it is for your. I had flashbacks of my house growing up in the sixties! People were good to work with. I never actually saw them but accomplished everything on the phone just fine.Owner response: Thanks to this constructive review we have updated and repaired some items, We painted the front of the house and bathrooms just this week. We also added a back porch (see pictures) . This year we hired a new cleaning crew and have addressed the issues stated. We have kept the classic cabin like paneling for its retro charm. We always appreciate traveler comments so we can constantly strive to make the house better all the time. This house is an acceptable place to stay. Quiet neighborhood. We rented the house for a month long stay. The house was perfectly situated to access the downtown area. Our stay was very comfortable as the house is nicely furnished and necessities provided. The owner was great. He answered any questions immediately and was very accommodating to our unique needs. We will definitely rent from him again and highly recommend him to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

Great location; one mile to downtown (you could walk if you want to). The house was great, we had everything we needed, we just brought ourselves and some food. John and Martha were very helpful and responsive to anything we asked about. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

Great Dell Street House, literally walking distance to Central Ave. We stayed in Hot Springs for the weeked attending a UTA Tournament and wanted to be as close to the main strip as possible. With 2 couples and our children and dog, this house more than fit the bill for us. Plenty of room inside and fenced room outside. The area was very quiet and we had no issues whatsoever. While we did mostly drive we also walked a few times as well to the strip. We had a wonderful time and the owner John could not have been more accommodating or nice. The house was VERY clean and well supplied. My wife and I stay all over and since we have had our children (4 and 10) we continue to do so and bring our dog Daisy as well, our friends joined us with their newborn and we couldnt have had a better time. More than enough room for everyone comfortably! John - thanks again for all your assistance and we WILL stay with you again!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed on Dell st home during the Sun Belt Conference. 2012. We never travel without our 2 mini Schnauzers. This house is perfect. Fully fenced with lots of room to run. The home location was convenient to everything. John was very helpful you just text or call and he helps with everything and is very flexable. There is lots of info. on local restaurants and events. Nice to have a washer and dryer too. No huge laundry load when ya get home. We didn't use half of the home so next time we will just have to bring more people with us. Anyone with kids and or pets traveling with you this is a perfect place. Great oven/stovetop and microwave so you can go out to some of the great places to eat or eat in if ya want.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

We had a great time staying at the Dell Street House over the weekend for Valentine's. We relaxed, cooked big breakfasts and planned our days in Hot Springs. We would recommend six to eight people or a family to stay at Dell Street House and enjoy it as much as we did. 3 couples from DallasRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had an amazing time in Hot Springs. The Dell house was an ideal housing choice for our trip. The house was very clean and spacious. It was also conveniently located to all of the attractions that we had planned on attending. I highly recommend the Dell house to anybody that plans on visiting Hot Springs. This was the first time I rented a house for a vacation trip and I was a little aprehensive, but now I plan on doing this every time I can. The owner was especially friendly and helpful. The people of Hot Springs are very welcoming and I strongly encourage people to visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family and I recently rented this house for a weekend for my sister's wedding. It was clean and perfectly suited our needs. The landlord was friendly and accommodating. This house is fully stocked with everything needed for a short or a long stay, and is equipped with things you won't even know you need until you need them! :-) I would not only rent this house from this renter again, but I highly recommend it to others. Quiet, 4 bedrooms, very close to historic downtown, very nice neighborhood. Quiet Fenced yard. Parking for three cars. Corner lot and buffer space on the other side of the house give even more privacy. The mountain is just across the street. Two full bathrooms make it ideal. Place to cook and hang out in the back yard. Very low traffic street, yet all the good stuff in town is only 5 to 10 minutes away.
