  My family just returned from vacationing with friends at Beach Baby and found it to be a nice cottage. The location was great and when we used the transportation service they provide to the beach, we were on the beach less than 5 minutes after leaving the cottage. The bedrooms were big and roomy and the balcony spaces were great places to relax. We only had 2 issues - first, we did not have wi-fi at the house which should be a given in 2013. My husband had to work and on the rainy days the kids needed access to keep themselves entertained so wi-fi at the house would have been nice. My other issue would be that the kitchen was very small - I love to cook and we rarely go out when we go to the beach, but for people who want to take a vacation from cooking as well, the kitchen is fine. The community and quiet and less than 5 minute walk to Rosemary Beach and far more reasonably priced. The kids were able to bike all over the place (they even had a few bikes at the cottage available) and we could walk to the shops/restaurants at Rosemary Beach. There was a huge pool at the community as well if anyone wanted a break from the beach. Overall, the house was great and we would definitely go back to Seacrest Beach.

  We have stayed at Seacrest many times and have always had a great experience...not so much at this property. This home is in need of some major repairs. Upon arrival we noticed paint peeling off the second story ceiling from what looked like water damage. We called the local manager to let her know and she never returned our call. After two days, we noticed many other problems. The blinds on the front door were broken and had duct tape holding them together, food was left in the microwave, there were several smoke detectors missing covers which revealed they were also missing batteries (one of which was in the kids bunk room), the ladder to the bunk bed was broken and had a huge screw sticking out of it (we didn't notice until one of the kids cut their leg on it), the third floor balcony light fixture was missing and the wires just hanging from the ceiling, the brush on both sides of the house was so overgrown the outdoor shower could only be accessed by walking through the house to the back door...deafeats the purpose of having an outdoor shower! We called the booking manager to let them know of these issues and they were very apologetic and sent someone out the next day to evaluate and replace the outdoor light fixture. We appreciated their concern, unfortunately it didn't change the fact that we paid full price for a home that had some major issues.

  Owner response: We apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. Prior to this rental, no problems were reported this past summer. The house was booked every week this past summer and most rentals were filled to capacity. As soon as these issues were brought to our attention by this renter, they were addressed and fixed. The next renter praised us for a wonderful stay. Furthermore, regardless that the weekly rate was discounted from the posted VRBO rate for this renter, we want every renter to have a positive experience. Thank you.

  Beach Baby is an awesome home away from home! The property is well-maintained and exactly as it is in the pictures. It is right in the middle of Seacrest and has a little pathway to Rosemary and a separae pahway that leads right up to the pool. Our family of 7 had enough room to spread out and claim our space with room to spare or share! The property manager was extremely helpful and polite. The bicycles included in the rental were great for the kids to ride around the property and for the adults to get a little exercise while on vacation. Everything you would need to prepare a meal was available and ready to use. We first stayed in Beach Baby in the summer of 2010 and we are excited to be headed down again this summer to enjoy it all over again! Beach Baby is everything it claims to be and more!!!!! EXCELLENT VACTION HOME!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
