  We came to here on a retreat with another couple to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was paradise!!!! There were no chains and tourists. We really got to experience the wild life. When we first arrived with our two boats, there was ample room in the driveway as well as in front of the house to accommodate our trailers and large SUVs. We had many questions about the wild life and the man at the end of the street knew everything there is to know about the birds in Florida. The neighbor next door was an avid fisher and was extremely friendly. He taught us so much. We brought a few poles and the garage housed the rest as well as a few tackle boxes. There was also more than enough room on the very spacious dock for our boats. The canals were very clean and calm and the area was serene. When we were not on the water we really enjoyed biking around the neighborhoods. The tandem bicycle was a blast especially for our 11year old who cannot ride a bike. We even saw an eagles nest and picked up some mango samples by the road. We also rode to some of the nearby restaurants and the small beach that was also close by. When we were inside cooling off, the house was very comfortable. There was very fast high speed wireless throughout, cable TV and very comfortable dining room chairs and white leather couches. This was an extremely enjoyable vacation and we were all very sad when it ended. Recommend this house to guests of any age- there is something for everyone!

  We stayed at Sea Scape this fall and had a wonderful time. We loved the kayaks. They were awesome for going up and down the canals sight seeing as well as in the open waters. We saw numerous fish jumping as well as manatees right in front of the dock. Sitting dockside as the sun set was also a very relaxing end to a busy day of fishing. There was also a brand new beer and bait refrigerator in the garage for our day's catch. The pool was very warm and clean. The inside of the house was also very clean with all white tile floors. There was so much artwork to look at, with almost all hand painted island theme. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. An orange juice squeezer for the fresh oranges, a blender, crockpot, coffee maker, many many pots and pans in very good condition, and even hand painted plates from key west and many colorful serving platters. The garage with the washer and dryer had more than enough room to work on all of our projects including cracking a coconut from one of the trees in the yard. This is great place to have an awesome relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back!!

  Absolutely the most relaxing vacation we have experienced. We love Seascape for its quick access to the bay and the fishing is incredible. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the accomodations were 1st class. This home is one is very whimiscally decorated with the Bahama Island theme. Thank-You Don and Terra- WE will return

  First, I would like to say, I'm pretty easy going about most things. However, I don't feel like the owners are accurately describing this property.We chose this particular house because we planned to bring our dog and it was one of two properties listed that accepted pets. When we decided not to bring her, had I thought I could get my money back, I would have gotten right back in the car and found another place to stay. The images on the site are deceiving. The house is not very clean. There was mildew in the master shower and when I turned on the faucet in that bathroom, black "gunk" shot out of the drain. The grout throughout the white tiled house is black. The dining room chairs are stained. The "tropical landscaping" described is laughable. When I e-mailed the owner regarding some of the issues she stated that they liked the guests to feel a sense of privacy. I get that, but who wants privacy behind weeds and dead palm fronds? It was depressing to drive up to this house and see that the houses on either side were very well maintained and we got to stay in a jungle. The wasp nest in the corner by the front door was also lovely. We bought a few hundred dollars worth of groceries before going to the house and for some reason, knowing people were coming, the housekeeper(?)turned both refrigerator thermostats up. It took 36 hours on the lowest setting to get the kitchen fridge to a temp where I was no longer worried about losing the food. The garage fridge finally cooled as well, took a little longer because it was hot out there. Freezers worked though...could tell by the leftover bait fish from the previous guest. A note as to the listed amenities: the gas grill was filthy, there was ONE lounge chair, not chairs, there was no umbrella in sight, the pool is heated but it had an algae ring and was pitted and stained which is not seen in the photos. The twin beds listed are actually bunk beds. At night, I had to turn off the ceiling fan in the room because it was so close to the top bunk, I was afraid my daughter would get hit if she got up in the night. Pieces of the vertical blinds are missing in the bedrooms. As I mentioned, were going to bring our dog but in the end, did not. I let the owner know we did not bring our dog and asked that she return the pet deposit along with the security deposit. It was not returned.So if you say you're gonna bring your pet, bring your pet. And if you want to see REAL photos of the property, let me know.

  Owner response: I appreciate Sandy's Feed Back ----I really do ... It is a Good way for us to Improve what is not Right through Feedback Both Positive and Negative. My apolgies to Sandy and her family. I have offered her a free week in the future or even a partial refund. Her Pet Fee has been mailed this morning.We work hard to return Security Deposits quickly and the Office did not pick up her note that she never brought her Pet. Our Apologies. SInce Receiving this E-Mail we have made the following Changes to Improve Seascape for our Guests: We have changed Lawn Services If the housekeeper feels it is not up to standard she will phone us Maintenance is Key and We Agree. Housekeeping will not turn up the Air Conditioner or the Refrigerators. Appliances will be set at Correct Temps upon Check-IN. The Housekeeper will call me now after completing the Cleaning and we go through a Check-List together so as to make sure all is Covered and Clean...including the Gas Grill. Housekeeping will notify me if Pool is not spotless-UPDATE (Newly resurfaced Pool on Feb 15th 2012) Looks Gorgeous!! The Blinds have been repaired Fan removed from Bunk Room. New Lounge Chairs were added July 2, 2011. Seascape is about to become even better! In a gorgeous neighborhood, Waterfront, Kayaks,Bicyles and Big Adult Trike.Cool Decor! Our goal is to have a fun, clean Relaxing Home for all to Enjoy and we plan to make that happen again!
