We wanted a week away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life and that's exactly what we got! This beautifully-appointed cottage was just right for the two of us. The view from the bedroom window was a delight to wake up to, and the sunporch was so warm, we were in shirtsleeves, even though it was in the 40s outside. We had every amenity we could need (even a crockpot!), including cable television and internet access and didn't have to leave the cottage for most of the week. We were a short car drive from wine country, had we wanted to indulge. The Village of Honeoye was just little over a mile away, and there was a nice nature trail nearby, as well. We were quite pleased with our stay in this beautiful, lakefront cottage.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

An enjoyable place to stay. A beautiful view of the lake from either the inside or outside porch. Exceptionally well kept and exceptionally well equiped, which included cable TV and internet. The new kitchen was a big plus. The owner was very pleasant and easy to get along with. The size of the lake is great, not too big and not too small.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Cottage is spotless inside and out...very well maintained...cottage is nicely furnished and beds are very comfortable...brand new remodeled kitchen would be the envy of any homeowner .....beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding hills especially from the lower enclosed porch or the second floor balcony... lake is not very busy so you can really enjoy being out on the water...the town is small but has everything that you would need - gas station, restaurants, grocery store, etc....thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again next fall.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We truly enjoyed ouselves at this cottage!!! Its location is excellent. Our stay included visiting the Grape Festival in Naples and nearby wineries. Our accommodations were super. The beautiful kitchen was well equipped and the views from the upper and lower porches were wonderful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at this cottage. It was close to the marina and Sandy Bottom Beach if you wanted to go there. Also close to town for the grocery store and gas. THe cottage is well kept. The air conditioner in the main bedroom was nice as it was in the 90's a couple of days. The Kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could need for cooking. The only thing that would have been a little more convenient would be a propane grill vs. the charcoal grill (takes too long to get hot and get dinner ready). We loved the back patio and porch to look out at the lake. And I like that the lake is smaller. There aren't alot of boaters during the week. If you need to rent a boat, Trident marina is right around the corner from the cottage. Overall, a great place to stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. The owner was helpful and friendly. The weather was even good. We had excellent fishing and my wife caught a 5 1/2 lbs Largemouth Bass. We will definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place on Honeoye Lake.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

MY FRIEND AND 2 VISITORS WERE ALL MUCH IMPRESSED WITH THE COTTTAGE, THE VIEW, EASY ACESS OVER THE GRASSY PARK TO THE LAKE AND BOAT DOCK, THE NEW MODERN KITCHEN,COMFORTABLE BEDS, THE NEARBY BEACH, ETC. THE EMBERS RESTAURAND IN LIVONIA IS RECOMMENDED I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

5 guys on bicycles to enjoy the FingerLakes--great time at this rental--A well tended lawn and accent wild grasses welcomes you to this lovely cottage which is on a grassy small park that abuts the waterfront---all business on the bikes(no winery tour) 55-60miles/day..means we needed a comfortable place to kick back and indeed this was a great spot..well maintained with plenty of sleeping options-- a morning swim across the lake was a treat--we'll be BAAAAAAK!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.

Cottage was nice, well-kept, clean (as was the property). Big open green-space out front of the cottage great for kids. If you are looking for a week of swimming, hanging out on the beach though, this isn't the place for you. The beach is rocky, and the water was murky half of the week. Best-suited for one family. Would be great for those wanting to get out fishing. The area is beautiful. Cottage is close to amenities.Owner response: Honeoye is a natural Lake and has a broken shale and sand shoreline, which sometimes can be hard on tender feet. Thank you for your review.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It truly surpassed our expectations when it came to comfort and cleanliness. Everything has been updated, it is very roomy, and the view of Honeoye Lake is spectacular!! We definitely look forward to staying here next summer!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My husband and I stayed at this comfortable and immaculate cottage for a week. The view is marvelous, the park in front is great for kids! My only problem was the spiral stairs..hard on arthritic knees. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the space open and airy! What a lovely place! The grounds are lovely, also...well cared for and pretty. The unit was well equipped. We enjoyed the enclosed front porch and spent most early mornings and evenings there. The hoist is the older style and a bit tricky but it was nice to have our boat so close. The owner was very helpful in all respects. We have already recommended this nice spot to friends. We rode into Naples, NY for Cindy's delicious red raspberry pie but other than that stayed and enjoyed the lake.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Rent for 2 years in the row; had family visit and they thought it was a great deal. My nephews have made permanent friends with some of the kids up there,in which they text each other hoping for summer to visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The cottage was clean and very well equipped. Even when it rained, it was pleasant to remain indoors. We loved sitting on the porch and looking at the lake. The peace and quiet in the neighborhood were very soothing. While there is not much to do in the town itself, we found plenty of wonderful things to do within a few minutes of driving. Fresh corn at roadside stands, roasted in the fire pit was a special treat. The washer and dryer were a huge help and being able to offer a teenager her own room was a great plus. We had a wonderful vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Just returned from an amazing week on Honeoye Lake in this adorable lake home. It was the perfect home away from home. It was very clean and comfortable. The view both upstairs and down is breathtaking. The yard is spacious and the landscaping is beautiful. We actually had my daughter's family birthday party while we there so it was the perfect location for a family gathering. If you have children, there's a park right outside the front door with swings, volleyball net and a basketball court with plenty of room to play. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and was surprised at how much we caught. Overall, we loved this house and would definitely rent it again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Location, Location!! This cottage was on a beautiful lot, 50 yards from Honeoye Lake. The enclosed sun room was one of my favorite features; I could read and have my cup of coffee, enjoy the lake breeze and watch the boats-very relaxing!! The cottage is very clean, has many amenities and can sleep 10, although it would be a crowded cottage! The only downside is no air conditioning. On very muggy nights, the air is very still. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The cottage was comfortable and clean. We loved the upstairs deck. We all spent a lot of time on the deck and screened front porch. It was nice being so close to the water as well. I think more portable fans should be provided in case of extreme heat. We enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers
