The Kaanapali Alii has long been considered the premier luxury condominium resort on famous Kaanapali Beach on Maui, Hawaii. The resort is ideally located directly on one of the nicest stretches of Kaanapali Beach, perfect for sun bathing, snorkeling, surfing and other water sports. Whalers Village is located just a few short minutes via the boardwalk, where you’ll find many excellent restaurants and shops.
The Alii resort is beautifully landscaped and perfectly laid out for families or couples who wish to enjoy the beach and pool facilities during their stay. The oceanfront resort has just completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment, which includes an expanded pool area featuring two fresh-water pools plus a kaki (kids) pool, a Jacuzzi/hot tub and a picnic area with outdoor gas grills. The stunning new 3,000 sq ft gym offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment and a yoga studio, plus a full-service spa with a wide variety of massage, facial and body treatments. The resort also features three lighted tennis courts and an on-site tennis Pro. The Kaanapali Resort Golf Course is across the street and features two 18 holes golf courses.
Our 1,900 sq ft Premier inner courtyard unit is perfectly located on the ground floor with direct access from the lanai to the beach and pool area. No elevators to wait for or crowded hallways to keep you from getting to the beach. From the lanai, you have wonderful views of the lush landscaping and the beautiful ocean, which you can gaze out at while relaxing on one of the loungers or enjoying a meal al fresco on the outdoor dining table. The condo is set back from the public areas, allowing for privacy and an extremely quiet environment, yet still offering beautiful views and easy access to the beach and pool.
Two beautifully appointed bedrooms each feature their own private bathrooms and flat-screen televisions. The Master bedroom offers a king-size bed and a small sitting area, and the Master bath has a large walk-in shower and two vanities. The second bedroom features two full-size beds, and the bathroom has a full size bathtub with shower. An added benefit of our unit is the enclosed den, which we’ve converted to a third bedroom with a queen sized bed. For privacy, sliding doors separate the den from the living room. We are one of the few condos at the Alii to have fully converted the den into a proper third bedroom.
Our unit has been completely remodeled and features modern granite counter tops throughout, tasteful Hawaiian-style furnishings, HD LCD Televisions and Internet access. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all cookware, glassware and utensils. Our unit also features a laundry room with a washer and dryer, plus iron and ironing board.
We rent our unit through Classic Resorts, the onsite management company, who will provide you with an exemplary check-in service, as well as all the amenities expected at a luxury resort including daily maid service, bellman, concierge, pool & beach services, including beach towel service. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SPECIFICALLY REQUEST UNIT 414 WHEN BOOKING WITH CLASSIC RESORTS.
The staff at the Alii are friendly and genuinely helpful with all of your requests, from organizing a snorkel trip to obtaining a restaurant reservation, the team will make it happen quickly and efficiently. My family and I stayed in condo 414 for one week and could not have been happier. The condo is beautiful, well appointed, and in a perfect location. The staff at the Alii is excellent. This is the only place I will stay when in Maui again. I can't say enough good things about the Alii or condo 414.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We've stayed at the Alii several times with our last 2 visits in this condo and we absolutely love it!! . The room is decorated nicely with a great kitchen. I don't think there is a better located room at the resort. There are lovely views and direct access to the grass out front, the pool and the beach. We love the "extra" bedroom as well. We can't wait for our next visit to the Alii and this condo!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family stayed here for 11 nights in August 2010 and it was even better than we hoped for. The unit itself looks better in person than the pictures show. The location was perfect, ground floor, near pool. The Alii is top notch. The service we received from the staff was just like we were staying a 5 star hotel, yet we had the benefits of a condo. We absolutely can't say enough good things about this unit and the Alii in general. We definitely hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

I stayed at this condo (Unit 414) and it was amazing. The decorations were beautiful, the accommodations were incredibly clean, the location (on the ground level with direct access to the pool) was perfect. I have stayed at the Alii before and this condo is by far superior to the rest. I would highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
