Old Florida charm in a completely remodeled house only 1 1/2 short blocks to an uncrowded beach. Ours is a 2 bedroom/2 bath home which sleeps 5. It is the larger 1/2 of a duplex house with exclusive use of the solar heated saltwater pool in the privately fenced backyard. A garage separating both units is also exclusively for our guests.
Anna Maria Island is known for its beautiful sugar white sand beaches. A short walk from the house, down a shaded lane brings you to a wide and uncrowded beach. Beach chairs, towels, a cooler, umbrella and beach cart all are provided for use by our guests.
After a day at the beach, fishing off the local piers or visiting the quaint shops on the island, return home to our tropical backyard oasis to relax around the pool. No need to eat out all the time, you can prepare meals at home in our well equipped kitchen and dine alfresco in our private and shaded yard. Anna Maria Island and neighboring areas also have many fine restaurants and dining is always casual.

Anna Maria Island is only 1 hour south of the Tampa Int’l Airport and Busch Gardens Theme Park. It is an easy 2 hour drive to from Disney & Epcot and 20 minutes north of Sarasota. With beautiful white sandy beaches and no crowds, this is the perfect place for families to unwind and relax.

Your hosts, Kathy and David. For over 20 years we have rented beach houses on the Atlantic coast, in the Caribbean, the Keys and Gulf coast of Florida with our two daughters. When we visited Anna Maria a few years ago, we decided here was the place to have a retreat of our own. This was our first time renting a vacation home and we must say it was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless and had everything one could need. Dealing with David and Kathy was professional, prompt and the check in was smooth. We (our 3.5 year old especially) loved the pool and the backyard atmosphere. The nearby beaches are beautiful and not overcrowed. The island is safe and quiet. We primarily used the the wonderful kitchen but did enjoy a beautiful dinner at the Waterfront Restaurant. If anyone is looking for a peaceful vacation in an incredible 2 bedroom house, do not hesitate to book the Front Porch on Anna Maria Island.

I loved my month in paradise in this home. David and Kathy have equipped this home to meet all a vacationer's needs. It was beautifully decorated. The patio with the pool was so relaxing after a day at the beach or shopping. The home was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to have my daughter's doggies come and visit at this beach house. I would highly recommend this home to my family and friends! David and Kathy made the rental process very easy and were quick to answer any questions I might have had.

Hi David & Kathy, Your house is the best vacation rental we have been to. Better than the pictures. Little dogs loved the patio. The decor is tasteful, cool and comfortable and soooo clean. Kitchen is great. Nice new appliances. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We all loved the pool, the pool area is a little oasis. Easy walk to the beach and used the little wagon for our stuff. Very convenient. We had everything we needed for our vacation. Fave restaurants...Island Creperie, Bridge St Bistro, Eat Here... Bakery... Ginny and Janes. We could not have planned a better stay for our honeymoon! We were looking for a relaxing week on the beach together and that is exactly what we had! This home has everything you need to make your vacation one to remember. The home is so clean and had top notch amenities. Our favorite thing to do was pack a picnic lunch in the cooler, load up the beach chairs and umbrella in the wagon and head to the beach for the day! We loved that the beach was only a short walk away. The outdoor BBQ and pool area were unbelievable; the pictures do not do it justice. We cannot say enough about this place. We are glad we chose to spend our first vacation together here and we know this will be a place we will enjoy coming back to year after year. Thanks again to the owners for your hospitality and for making this such a beautiful home!

All I can say is "ditto" to all the other words of praise about this wonderful place. It is the most beautiful and convenient house that we have rented. It is very evident that the owners Kathy and David take great pride in their house. Everything is first class. The kitchen is well equipped, the landscaping tropical and beautiful, and the pool fantastic. In fact, the only "problem" we had was tearing ourselves away from the pool to enjoy the great beach only a block and a half away. There is much to enjoy about Anna Maria, from the beaches to the quaint shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a take-out dinner from the Gourmet restaurant, and The Feast is a great place for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed the nearby fresh fish market, and also the fish market/restaurant at Star Fish Market near the Cortez bridge. It was also a pleasure to be able to include our four-legged daughter Lillie. I would recommend this house to anyone, and already have recommended it to friends. We look forward to another visit.

We have stayed in many places on Anna Maria as we tend to go back year after year. This place is simply terrific. The pool is beautiful (and salt water, too). Our son had the time of his life. The house is beautiful and has everything you would need. The owners are terrific and very accommodating. Perfect place for a perfect family getaway!

The villa was extremely well kept - clean and comfortable - and had all those useful extras including a wagon to take chairs and parasol to the beach! Pretty pool and surroundings and within 5 mins walk of a beautiful beach. Excellent utility area in garage. Bedrooms airy and beds very comfy.Certainly the best location on the island - just on the edge of anna maria city and within walking distance of some of the best eating places around. Can't fault it - excellent value for money!

We just spent a week here and loved it! The house was beautiful and super clean. Everything we needed was right there. Loved having wifi! The tropical backyard with the pool was great, our son loved it! It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us. Thanks! It was nice having a Publix so close for our shopping. We also enjoyed a few restaurants - The Sandbar Restaurant in Anna Maria was nice. You get to eat on the beach and they have a great grouper sandwich. We also tried the Seafood Shack in Cortez. My husband loved their scallops and I loved their hush puppies! If you need dessert try Tyler's in Cortez for some good ice cream and they even have sugar free.

Just bring your toothbrush because this place has everything you will need. The house itself is so cool with tile through-out, beautiful furnishings and the kitchen so well equipped. The bedrooms overlook the most fabulous tropical landscaped and completely private pool and deck area, loved it loved it and spent a lot of time out there. With the great beach just across the street you really don't need to go too far to have a utterly special time. There are many different style restaurant and bars and of course 2 piers with fishing and restaurants and bars also, we liked to ride our motorcycle to St Ormond’s Circle, it is a really interesting place to visit with exquisite shops and some of the best eating places you'll find. We will defiantly do this again and the added bonus for us is that it is only an hour and a half from our home and we were able to take our beloved new dog with us and he had a blast and was very safe and secure on the property.
