  This was such a nice place to stay! After being in a hotel room in Waikiki, it was nice to feel like we had our own place in a condo., that had all we needed. Whenever I had a question, the owner, Donn, was easy to get ahold of. My only suggestion is to have a laundry card available to do laundry and the bed could be much firmer/kinda saggy in the middle. Otherwise, it was nice to have everything we needed to make our own meals. The grounds are nicely kept up. The workers friendly. Was nice to have the BBQ grills to cook dinner each night. Oh, one thing needed is more light next to the bbq grills so you can see what you are cooking, etc. We didn't use the pool much because we wanted to be at the beaches. GREAT area for much less crowded beaches. All in all, a great place to stay. Easy reservations, and easy to get us in the condo. Would love to go again! Tammy (and husband, Pat)

  this is the best priced condo rental on oahu!the location is only matched by the price.rainbows in the late afternoon ocean followed by light purple sky and the ocean turning deep purple.20 minute drive is the koolina resort,average room cost is 400$ per night.the beaches at koolina are open to the public.don't like to drive,20 minute walk to makaha beach.one day we were the only people on the beach.keana point state park is 10 minute drive,hike out to the point and hawaiian monk seals are 30 feet away.fast pace is in honolulu,if you move at your own pace,look no further.

  Light, bright, spectacular view, near deserted beach only a mile away, plus an even more deserted beach (Yokohama Bay) just a few minutes north. The locals were friendly (perhaps because there were so few tourists), we didn't get "stink eye" even once. If you can do without the crowds and fancy restaurants, this is the place to unwind. There's even a bus stop outside.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  If you want a peaceful get away with great views and restful surroundings then this is the place to stay. The veiws are breath taking, the people are friendly to say the least and it is peaceful no matter the time of day. Easy access to everything, areas to walk without hazards, the codo is clean and comfortable. Can't wait to stay again.

  If you are looking for a true relaxing vacation with all the perks imaginable, look no further than Makaha Valley Towers. You get to take in the beautiful ocean views, the breathtaking lush mountain range and the luxury of the sun setting over the ocean every night. At first entrance of this unit, we were impressed with the cleanliness and the organization. Everything was easy to find and everything was available for our needs. We spent many days relaxing by the quiet and immaculately clean pool area and enjoyed day long sun with no obstructions. As well, we enjoyed BBQ dinners by the amazing BBQ area lit by Tiki torches and colourfully lit up palm trees. The parking was bountiful and the 5 minute walk to both the ocean and the nearby Makaha Golf Resort made for some amazing dinners and drinks. In order to really appreciate Waikiki, we always spend one night in Honolulu so we don't have to worry about drinking and driving, and by the time the next morning rolls around we are happy to head by to our quiet oasis away from the noise. There is a new HUGE shopping area that has been developed close to the condos just over at Barbers Point, which was really handy for us as we LOVE to shop, as well, the beach lagoons at Ko Olina were as wonderful as ever and only 10 minute drive. Most visitors are not aware of these lagoons so they are very quiet and have amazing beach cabanas which are not available in Waikiki. Do not miss out on Ko Olina. Also, Roys fine seafood restaurant was at Ko Olina, so a very quick drive for a very very fine meal (loved it more than Sam Choys by far). This side of the island has much to offer than the others in our minds and the enjoyment of sitting on the lanai and enjoying the view of the ocean, sipping your coffee and seeing numerous Humback Whale blow holes makes for a wonderful way to start the day, which is unmatched anywhere in Hawaii. Make this condo your next destination hideaway. The 20th floor view was amazing. Getting to all the area attractions was a quick drive (Dole, North Shore, Etc). The price was a wonderful surprise and completely justified our one night in Waikiki. Be sure to stop by Leonard Jrs Malasada stand in the Weikili shopping center parking lot. You will not be disappointed. We have stayed at Makaha Valley Towers three times now and I have to say, this unit takes the cake. Don't miss out on what I consider, true paradise.   you can not live any cheaper than this.rent this unit before the owner up's the rental fee!clean beach is one minute away by car.no pollution.air ,noise,light,water,smell.we would sleep on the floor beside the sliding glass doors.peacock's were a good alarm clock to help motivate us to not sleep away the vacation.secret,ko-olina is 20 minute drive away and beach"s are open to public! price for ko-olina beach resort is 400 NIGHT. if your staying on oahu for more than a couple of weeks then check out this condo.added bonus was the rainbow's in the morning falling into the sea.just grand!

  My wife and I stayed at the penthouse on June 6-20, 2010. The penthouse is just as described. There is only two rooms on the floor of the penthouse. When we entered the room it was very clean and looked just like the pictures on the website. But, when we open the curtains the views were magnificent you can see the ocean and the mountains. Having a full wall window you have great views from the living room and bedroom. At night it's so quiet we left the sliding doors open it was great and relaxing. Having a kitchen saved us some money because we found ourselves buying a little grocerys and cooking at the condo. The property is very clean there is a bbq area and a pool. The beach isn't that far is just down the road and it's very secluded you don't have a lot of people there as you would in waikiki or honolulu. I would recommend this penthouse to anyone who wants to experiance a quiet, relaxing, fun vacation. I know my wife and I did. Donn the owner of the penthouse is a very nice person. Whenever I had a question I would email or call him and he would reply back right away. He was very helpful. The price to stay here is great. I know the next I go to Oahu I will be staying here.
