  The views are beautiful! Spnt most of the time visiting on the deck looking over the lake. Everything we needed was right there, couldn't ask for more. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us, it was just what the doctor ordered. Looking forward to our June birthday trip!

  Everything was perfect. We went there for a girls getaway and had an excelent time. We spent most of the day on the back deck relaxing and enjoying the wonderful view. There was alot of things to do there such as games to play,including the air hockey and the pool table. We talked about next time being able to come and bring the whole family for a fun vacation. Thank you for opening up your home. We will be back.

  An awesome place that exceeded our expectations! We loved this home, the design put us in touch with nature! The owners made sure it was stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen and bath, and was very clean. We spent much time on the elevated back porch in the morning and evenings,and fishing and swimming off the private dock. The back porch has a table with a canopy and six chairs, so we spent much time outdoors. Close to Hot Springs for shopping, dining, and many of the walking trails in the downtown Hot Springs area. Our family also enjoyed nearby gardens, horseback riding and exciting zip line advenures. This home has really cool wood floors that squeak when you walk across them, awesome views of Lake Hamilton, the entire back of the home that fronts Lake Hamilton has windows and sliding glass doors for great views, has a well equipped kitchen, and a dining room table that seats 6. The pictures on the listing page gives one a good idea of what to expect. We also grilled outside on the gas grill. We had 4 adults and 2 adult daughters and the accomodations were perfect for us. The bed in the sunroom came with all the necessary bedding, and the washer and dryer were also nice to have. I only played a few games of pool downstairs in the game room, but would be another place to gather, we mostly chose the living room, back porch and dock to gather as a family. The private dock is directly behind the house, down a flight of stairs, very accessable. We would highly recommend this house for a relaxing get away, and would definetly consider renting this home again on our next visit to Hot Springs. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our questions.

  We had the best time at this lake cabin. The owner was great to work with and the cabin was very clean and comfortable --- like a home away from home. There were 3 adults and 2 children, ages 12 and 9, and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock during the day and playing pool in the evening. The property is close enough to downtown Hot Springs that you can do all the activities there but then go "home" to relax. The neighbors were very nice and helpful too. We took a day excursion to Ron Coleman mining for quartz crystal hunting and then rented a boat one day to cruise the lake. Thank you so much for a much needed relaxing time.

  The lake view pictured was what drew me to this rental & it was terrific. Loved sitting on the deck. The place was exactly as pictured. For a rental, was surpized with all the extras in the cabinets: spices, oil, tea, coffee, extra napkins, paper plates, paper towels, etc. The boys loved playing pool. Air hockey was a half-size table, but they still enjoyed it. Close to nature (saw a blue heron fly onto our boat dock the first morning) and Hot Springs downtown (Angel's restaurant had awesome teramisu and the gift shops had lots of unique, beautiful items). We gave the boys the king-size bedroom w TV and took the smaller room with the queen-size bed & view. We used the sunroom as our dressing room since it had the second bath off of it. Worked out great! Owner was easy to work with and prompt in answering all my questions. They have placed lots of nice books, games etc. in the home. Go and enjoy! Would be great in the summer when you could swim off of the dock!

  What a wonderful, relaxing time we had at your lake house. Very peaceful & serene, we hated to leave! The house is well stocked, comfortable & cozy. The master bed is quite comfy as well. Also enjoyed playing pool & yahtzee. A much needed & well worth it getaway. The owners made it super simple & seamless! Thank you!

  I was very disappointed upon arriving at this property. Based on the reviews I read about the property before renting it, I was expecting a nice, clean place that had been recently renovated. Instead we found an old house that was infested with roaches and spiders and smelled horrible. No amount of air freshener could cover the smell of mold and mildew that permeated the air the entire time we were there. The only redeeming quality was the roominess and the view from the deck.

  Owner response: We are shocked and disappointed to hear that you had a bad experience at the Fishing Cabin. The pictures and the description on VRBO are an accurate representation, as well as the reviews, both before and after your reservation. A total of thirteen individual sets of guests have stayed since your reservation with very positive reviews posted. Be assured the house is cleaned after each guest. Also, there is a professional pest service and lawn service. There is no mold or mildew. We encourage our guests to contact us immediatly should the Fishing Cabin not meet or exceed their expectations. We are sorry to hear about your experience and regret you waited so long to advise us.   We came to Hot Springs for a quick weekend getaway. This was the first time we ever rented a house through VRBO. I was a little nervous about it. But after we got there and saw the view, LOVED IT. The owners answered all my questions via email and made it all a very easy process. The king size bed is great!!! I only wish it was in the other room :) The cabin was more spacious than I could tell from the pictures. We had -2- extra large dog kennels and they fit perfectly outside the king bedroom. We loved reading the book from previous visitors also. We watched thunderstorms roll in, but the rain was a pleasant surprise to us and helped with the 104' heat & humidity. Dont hesitate to rent this house... it is very relaxing and quiet home.

  We enjoyed our 4 nights at your cabin so much. Everything you could need and more was there. It was such a beautiful view of the lake from the deck. It was so enjoyable eating dinner out there watching the sunsets. We spent a lot of time spending time swimming in the surprising clean water. The location of the cabin is great as you can be in town for necessities or attractions in a matter of minutes yet as soon as your at the house - it's like its own little hide away. Another great thing was the cleanliness and feeling of home as soon as you arrive - decorated perfect and the beds were so comfortable and let us enjoy such a wonderful night sleep. We can't wait to return
