Welcome to our Crab Shack
Our newly remodeled beachy bungalow is one of a kind – the bright, cheery rooms will bring immediate positive energy and joy to your family. Our love for the beautiful local beaches is reflected in the decoration of the art and furnishings influenced by local artists. Enjoy the comfort and amenities of a home-away from home. There are 3 TV's total of which there is 37inch LCD TV in the family room and 32 inch LCD TV in the master. We also have three DVD players one of which is a Blu Ray player in the family room and an IPOD speaker dock. Each of the two bedrooms have their own bathrooms, one of which has a shower/tub. If you need to do laundry it can be done right in the bungalow, and if you have children, we have what you need. No need to travel with your Pack N' Play, booster seat, or toys. We have it for you.
We are centrally located with sight of the pool from the front porches. Just steps to the large pool and hot tub and in the opposite direction to the children's pool. The Crab Shack sits in a beautiful quaint courtyard and in the rear, the kitchen table has view of wildlife in the small wetlands located behind.
The easily accessed public Gulf boardwalk is just a short walk down the block. NOTE: This public access is not wheelchair accessible and does require two flights of steps to reach the beach. (This is required to ensure the dunes remain pristine).
If you forgot something and need it quickly, Tom Thumb is down the block.
You can't live without your organized workout? Check out Balance Health Studio just down
the road.
Also close by, in Grayton Beach, check out The Red Bar. Famous for it's eclectic decor, great live Jazz Music and great food and cocktails.

My husband and I were lucky enough to find the Crabshack online and even luckier that it was available in the middle of January. It was our first time vacationing in upper Florida, specifically on highway 30A, but we will definitely be back. The cute and friendly beach front communities that line 30A were incredibly unique. There were tons of shops from boutique to surf and delicious restaurants to enjoy, serving locally grown/caught cuisine. Despite this, we were always anxious to go back to the Crabshack. The place was clean, conveniently located (we were able to walk or bike everywhere) ,and had all the amenities we needed. I seriously walked from room to room admiring all of the soothing beach colors and local art. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub...even in the middle of January. We were able to relax at the "Shack" some evenings by winding down with wine and a movie. But my favorite part...was walking up every morning, grabbing a cup of joe, and walking down to the beach. It doesn't get any better than that. I would recommend this super cool place to everyone I know and we will most certainly be back! The CRABSHACK is AWESOME!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect location for a getaway to the unique beaches of Ft. Walton/30A.....had an amazing time and couldn't have been more comfortable in this adorable cottage/house. Beaches were more gorgeous than I expected as were all the surrounding beach towns. Loved biking along the 30A 'highway' and would go back in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I went to the Crab Shack for a long weekend with 3 other friends and everything was perfect. The house is decorated with fun colors and beach flare. The beds are comfy and the 2-story layout was perfect for those who wanted to retire early to bed upstairs while the party went on downstairs. We rented beach bikes from just down the road and were able to bike EVERYWHERE- to Seaside, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach- it was so much fun. It is a short walk to the beach and the sand is perfect.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My husband and two children live in Wisconsin and fell in love with this area of Florida years ago when my parents introduced it to us as children. We visit my parents who live in Seagrove half of the year. We adore the friendly people, pristine beaches, and uniqueness of the South Walton Beaches.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is newly furnished to make you feel like you are at home, but on vacation at the beach. There are two flat screen TV's and three DVD players (one Blue Ray) in the rooms. Bring your iPOD or iPHONE since we have a dock with speakers in the kitchen. The master has a King bed with bathroom and door to the second floor outdoor porch. The second bedroom has two twin beds with bathroom and tub. It also has a door to the outdoor porch. The sofa sleeper opens up into a queen bed. With a dishwasher, washer, and dryer you have all that you need! I love waking in the morning to an open patio door and a beautiful ocean breeze blowing in. Most of the art throughout the home is all original Florida art. ENJOY!
