    Three of us from south Louisiana stayed here for a girls' weekend. We did not want to leave. This place is wonderful, so much so that I hesitate to share it with anyone for fear we won't be able to get in again. The owners thought of everything. We enjoyed the extremely comfortable beds, the fully equipped kitchen and in particular the front and back porches to just hang out. The location is within walking distance of the downtown commercial area as well as the historic neighborhood. Two television sets and wi-fi completed the accomodations, with the large TV set allowing us to share in the heartbreaking result of the LSU-Alabama game. We will be back.

    We stayed at The Cottage while visiting family in Natchitoches and absolutely loved it! It was so nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to have use of the whole house without anyone else staying there. Having a kitchen made it nice and the owners left us the best banana bread. We used the front porch in the evening to drink a glass of wine and people watch before heading downtown for dinner. I would highly recommend The Cottage!

    We loved the cottage in spite of the rain that fell for our entire trip through LA. Nachitoches is a neat historic town that we will definitely explore again. The cottage is ideally located and comfortable in every way. Every detail was just perfect!

    We so enjoyed are time in your home. VERY NICE ! We could walk to the downtown and river. We were there the end of Sept. 2011 for "Return to the 50"s Street Rod Car Show". It was so nice to come back and relax before going to dinner and to be able to walk and leave our cars. This was my 2nd visit to the area and this was without a doubt the best. Will be back.

    The pictures don't do it justice. The cottage was the perfect getaway for our group, 2 couples. It is so comfortable and well kept. Fantastic beds and linens and super close to everything downtown. We will be back next year. Well worth the money!

    My friend and I stayed at the cottage for a "girl's weekend", and we LOVED it! Everything was beautiful, and comfy. The suggested restaurants were great, and we really loved the crawfish meat pies two blocks down the street. Eating was great, as was the shopping...and so close to the cottage. Thanks so much for this nice experience. Great sleeping, and wonderful thick towels. Have already recommended it to my sis-in-law and her Mom!!

    We stayed here for three nights May 5,6,7 2011. The pictures here and at the web site do not do the place justice! It is so much larger than it looks. Everything was in first class condition. The front porch with swing was a hit as was the large covered patio in back. Fullly equipped kitchen with plenty of seating. We paid it our ultimate compliment. "We could live here". Whether for a night or a month you can't go wrong. Forgot to mention the perfect location fot visiting the Historical District. We were in walking distance of EVERYTHING and we are old! lol Pat&Claire Barnes

    We had a very nice time, Your place is clean and well kept. A sort walk to the town/action which we loved as we were on motorcycles. We enjoyed an evening on your back patio. Loved the plants, you obviously take care of everything. We have given your name out to some of our biker friends.

    We feel like we've stayed in a little doll house. Everything is so perfect and so convenient. What beautiful days we've had---we hate to leave.

    The beds----aahhh! I slept better than at home (really)! So your cottage goes beyond the obvious charm, which is lovely---It's also a very comfortable place. See you again soon.
