This is the third time renting from this owner and all trips have been greatly enjoyed. We love the slow pace this community offers. Nestled between Destin & Panama City, this is the place where you want to be when you are wanting to "wind-down" from the "real" world. The owner is very helpful of your needs and is very receptive to making your stay the best. We, personally, like to come down during the off-season for that extra quietness but even if you have plans for summertime fun then renting from this owner is the way to go. Can't wait till next time!!!

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend for our anniversary. This was a great place to stay. The view from the balcony was excellent! The condo was very convenient for bike rides on the bike paths along 30A. You get the less-hectic pace of Seagrove but you are close enough to drive to Panama City or Destin. We got to meet the owner Steve while we were there and he made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend The Palms as a place to stay for a great vacation!

wonderful local....Seagrove/Seaside is my home away from home...instant peace overcomes me the minute I turn onto 30-A :) Came for my son's 10th birthday!! Had an awesome time...Steve, I can't thank you enough!! This review is a little late...sorry, I thought I had already left it!! Can't wait to return next year!! Looking at dates now!!

We've been to Seagrove Beach for the last seven years. This is our favorite place to stay. When we first arrived, we didn't know the wireless internet code. After a long day at work, Steve, the owner called late that night to give us that info. That's typical of his desire to accomodate. This condo is perfectly located, extremely comfortable with all appliances in working order. It was clean and ready for use. And the view can't be beat. This is our place to stay from now on. It is simply the best and the owner is the nicest owner we've encoutered.

This property is perfectly located in Seagrove within easy walking distance of Seaside, Watercolor and a bike ride to Alys Beach in Rosemary. The view from the balcony is spectacular, we watched dolphin play each day and even saw schools of mackeral in the clear water. The firewaorks form the beach are amazing as you have at least 4 shows within view. The accomodations are clean and nicely decorated, a great place to stay!

We stayed at Toes in the Sand in March, 2011. At first I wanted to stay in Seaside but kept finding all places booked for spring break. FORTUNATELY, I found this place! It was in the perfect location, only a short bike ride (less than a mile) from Seaside. And after visiting, i would much rather be outside of Seaside, it was WAY too crowded. This spot is PERFECT for families. If you're looking to really party, maybe stay somewhere else though as this place is nice and quiet and lots of families around. The beach was ridiuclous at Seaside, entirely too many people (especially young spring break kids). We LOVED the beach in front of our condo! It was quiet and absolutely gorgeous. The condo was clean, well stocked, well-decorated and just perfect for us. We walked to nearby restaurants, gift shops, bike rental shop, etc. Steve, the owner was completely professional and I would rent from him again any day. We rented last minute (1 day prior to arrival) and he was prompt and extremely nice. We are looking at staying there again in the fall and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

We have stayed at this condo 4 times over the past 6 years and have had a wonderful experience every time. The condo is always clean, well furnished, and is in the perfect location. We have always been treated like family when we rent from Steve. The views from the balcony overlooking the beach are breathtaking. We especially enjoy watching the dolphins play close to the beach in the morning. We have plans to stay here again this sumer and will continue to rent this condo for years to come!

Wonderful location in Old Seagrove Beach, minutes from Seaside. Great BEACHFRONT view! bike path and bike rental across the street- I' ve always enjoyed my visits-nice and quiet. I'm an Interior Designer and have enjoyed the condo's decor-cheery and PRISTINE! Steve(owner) is nice and unit always ready and very clean-IGNORE that other review! My favorite Secret/GreatDeal getaway!Try Bud and Alleys for Sunset cocktails!

We have stayed at the Palms every time we go to Seagrove which is twice a year or more.Steve the owner is a great host.The condo is always clean and well stocked with the items you will need for your stay.The Palms is my favorite place to stay on 30A and we have stayed at many condos on 30A.The Palms is close to some great restaurants in Seaside. I would recommend My Toes In The Sand for your stay at the beach.

Not so great...

I was hesitate to provide this information but now I'm frustrated . For anyone considering this property, when we arrived two weeks ago, the condo was filthy. No sheets on the bed, the tubs black, hair in the sinks, floor dirty, etc. We contacted the owner and he did get housekeeping over to clean it but we had to immediately leave for this to be done. He even suggested a place for supper, which was great food, but he would contribute x amount towards our bill. We have yet to get the "x" amount in the mail. The dishwasher was broken, therefore not cleaning the dishes on the top rack, the blinds to the balcony are broken, so you cannot open and close them completely. Please notice there are only one - two pictures from this acutal property, the others are from another property. We saw some very nicely decorated condos while there and I will say, this was our first time to use VRBO and probably the last, for sure the last time to stay in this particular condo unless some major improvements are made. Also, the bath towels smelled of cigarette smoke and all had to be completely rewashed before use to try to get the smell out. Sorry for the negative comments but hopefully it will improve in the end for someone else. Also there was sand all over the bedspreads to the bunk beds.

Owner response:My housekeeper made a mistake and failed to have this unit ready for our guests from Mississippi even though she had my email letting her know when they were to arrive. She immediately left her house at 6pm to correct this mistake and get the unit cleaned. I checked back with the guests after they had dinner and she said the unit was cleaned properly and she was satisfied with the job. She and her husband's meal is being taken care of by me as agreed. We always try to keep everything in great shape in our unit even though it does get a lot of wear and tear through the summer. We were there doing upgrades in May and July and there were no problems with the dishwasher or the blinds at that time. I will have someone check these items within the next week. No other guests have had any complaints or let me know of anything that needed repairs and this is the first I have heard about them. I will have my housekeeping service checked out for quality service and if what is stated above is correct, I will have them replaced. I'm sorry they weren't pleased with their visit and just wish they had communicated this with me while they were there.

This is our favorite place in Seagrove. The perfect getaway spot for my wife and me. We've been staying in this unit in the Palms for years. It's walking distance to our favorite restaurant the 30-A Cafe. It's an easy walk or bike to Seaside and Watercolor. This condo is never less than immaculate and of course the view is breathtaking. The Palms pool is never crowded and the atmosphere is always quiet and laid back. The owner seems to be totally focused on making your stay perfect, and we recommend this place to everyone looking for a getaway. Just save us a few days!

I LOVE Seagrove Beach and I LOVE staying at The Palms. I have been making Seagrove Beach and staying here in this rental my vacation destination every year sometimes twice a year for over 10 years now. I love the location. The accommodations are wonderful. Always updated and clean. I have never had any problems and find the owner much more than accommodating!!! In fact, he takes pride in his properties and making sure his renters are happy !!! I recommend to all my friends when they start making their vacation plans to consider Seagrove Beach and staying at this rental.

We have been staying in this unit for 4-5 yrs now, great, clean, and excellent communication with the owner! Also very convenient to restaurants but also family friendly. We have stayed at this property two different times, and always it has been so nice. We have also stayed another property by this owner and found it to be nice and clean. We did not have any housekeeping problems, it was nicely prepared for our arrival. The owner was easy to work with and very accomodating. We are big Seagrove fans have been for 15 yrs, have always used VRBO for our accomodations.
