  This was our first vacation rental, and that even, was our first trip with our new baby - so we were a little apprehensive about finding a place that would give us all the comforts of home (including crib and high chair). Elizabeth was very professional and accommodating from the start. At first we chose her condo rental in South Beach, but elected to go with the house in Coral Gables instead to escape the madness of SOBE - boy are we glad we did! The house is perfect for a family stay and has all that you need. The outdoor pool and patio area were wonderful and our 9 month old spent hours a day exploring the landscaping and pool with us. The neighbourhood is wonderful for walks and is close to shopping, restaurants, golf etc. and is peaceful. Although we only spent 6 days there, we feel like we just came back from a restful 2 week vacation. We have many treasured memories of this first vacation with our son and can't recommend Elizabeth and her accommodations enough. Hope to be back soon!

  This was my first time booking from a site such as this so I was pretty skeptical in the beginning. However, I must say Elizabeth (The Owner) made the process very smooth and she was very prompt with her responses to any inquiry I had. The home is beautiful especially the tropical garden that surrounds the beautiful pool with the waterfall. The home itself is perfectly set in the middle of everything.. minutes to downtown, minutes to South Beach and minutes to the airport. I love to cook so the kitchen was more than great. To sum it up; I probably wouldn't change anything about this home besides add a hot tub or add lights to the pool and extend the timer on the waterfall.. It is so beautiful back there, those two "romantic" additions would definitely put the house over the top. My girlfriend and assistant would like to know, whats used to wash & scent the towels because the scent was amazing (I also agree)? In closing, we will definitely book the Gables Home again and look forward to maybe visiting Aspen as well!!! Thank you Elizabeth, you really made a potentially stressful situation, amazing beyond words. The guys and I are forever grateful.

  We stayed in the house for a month. The location could not be more convenient, with great walking on the adjacent Greenway and easy access to the supermarket, Books and Books, and Coral Gables restaurants. The house is large and airy, and the back garden a very pleasant area in which to enjoy the South Florida weather. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The owner responded instantly to our two requests -- for a DVD player and a lightweight blanket.

  The Coral Gables Rental was in a great spot for our family to gather, only a mile or so from our son. The house is an old Spanish home in a nice neighborhood. There were a few things that the description showed that the home lacked. When we arrived, we knew there had been a cleaning lady there earlier, but the floors were still dirty, and the outside tables were filthy. We cleaned them ourselves. The laundry area was strewn with deflated pool toys, random bags and very dirty. The light colored couches were dingy and stained.There was no highchair in the home which we were planning on and only 2 beach chairs, one of which was ripped. The steam shower never provided steam. The description says "basic" soaps and paper products provided, which actually was one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no soap at all. The owner was very easy to work with. She was quick to respond to any correspondence throughout the process and because of that I have confidence that the issues I brought to her attention will be addressed for any future renters.

  Owner response: I am so sad to receive this review both because it seems I dropped the ball in providing the wonderful customer service that we usually provide and because I would have corrected every single one of these issues had I been contacted. I have spoken at length with the housekeeper about the problems you had and I believe they will never be repeated. The steam shower has never worked since we bought the house in 2004 -- we do not advertise it on our listing. We own 9 rentals and move the high chair around -- I was never notified that if was not there. Had I been notified I could have had it deliver within 2 hours. If ever the cleaning is not acceptable, I will always send the housekeeper at my expense. Of course, it should be done right the first time, but please give us the chance to correct it at our cost. I instruct the housekeeper to keep the house stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap and, dish soap and laundry detergent. If there are not sufficient quantities -- we will bring them to you if you send me an email or call me on the phone. I did send you an email at the beginning of your stay which you did not respond to until you were leaving. I feel dreadful that you were not happy -- and much worse because we could have corrected it all. It is so important to us that our guests have the best time and I am so beyond sad that you didn't. We have replaced the outdoor dining set with a gorgeous new teak and aluminum set and have added 2 new cushion topped teak chaise lounges. Please -- if future renter are reading this -- reach out to whomever you are staying with and ask them to fix things -- because they will!

  We were visiting family in Miami-- and it was so nice to have space to spread out! The homeowners were especially gracious in setting up a fence around the pool to help protect our small children. The master bath was a hit with numerous shower heads. The home was clean with some minor maintenance needs. The back yard was beautiful. We would love to stay here again!

  This is a wonderfull home furnished with all the expected necessities and many more. Walls of books, movie channels and a beautifull pool keep will your family content. The neighbourhood offers many great resteraunts and is WALKABLE. Shopping, beach, sports, your close to it all in a very healthy mediterranean enclave. This is not a genericized rental but instead someones home. Great beds and linen, exotic birds, and Inviting spanish culture everywhere. My family and I have rented all over the world and this home is top of the list. Also, very attentive owner who goes out of her way to accomodate guests. Stayed three weeks, could still be there. Thanks again Elizabeth!

  This property was perfect for our large family. We were in Miami for a family reunion of seven families with children and great grandchildren. This home provided enough space for three families and space enough for all seven families to enjoy swimming and preparing meals for our group. The pool was clean and well taken care of and provided a nice ledge for the younger children to play on. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and counter space to spread out. Several of my siblings indicated they would love to come back to Miami and rent this home. Thank you for making our time together so special.

  The description of the property perfectly matches the real thing. Everything is in perfect conditions, from the bathrooms to the kitchen. The property is clean and well maintained and has lots of extras. Superb space. Wonderful garden and swimming pool. The owner offered excellent personalized treatment and everything worked perfectly from the begining to the end. Super reliable. I would definitely stay again in this property and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Miami.

  We stayed for 18 days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home...We found it to be clean ,modern, wonderful kitchen and bathrooms and very easy to relax in...the pool is lovely...the neighborhood is so convenient...close to the best of Coral Gables...any questions we had were quickly addressed ...we are hoping to return next year..

  I booked this place at the last minute because our previous reservation was canceled out on us. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating! The house itself is gorgeous -- very modern, and everything mentioned in the description if not more. Location is great, especially if you like to go on walks; beautiful community, clean fresh air, tons of trees, etc etc. I would def. recommend this property to anyone looking!
