We are VERY proud of our completely remodeled unit (538 Bldg. A) and hope you will decide to be our guest. Some of the recent renovations include. This was our second stay at MBR. We always have a great time. The landscaping is beautiful, the property is well maintained. I appreciate the controlled access to the resort and the security presence provided. It makes for a carefree stay. The beach is beautiful, deep, long and clean. The cabana bar is a wonderful attaction both day and night. I will never consider staying elsewhere when in Myrtle Beach. The unit was clean, bright, well furnished and attractive.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is the firs time we had stayed at the resort. Myrtle Beach has been our family's vacation spot for years. We had heard good things about the resort and with huge increases at the resort we had stayed at for several years we decided to take a chance on the resort. I hate to give this unit a great review for fear it will not be available for our vacations in the future, We found Matt to be very helpful and has someone mentioned before he answered all of our questions. He also was easily reached when we arrived and had some other questions. The room was a great space for the 5 of us. The kitchen was very nice lots of counter space. The ice maker was great, no having to go and buy ice. The dishwasher was added bonus. The large master bathroom was also a pleasant surprise. The sun deck was another great bonus, my son and his friend (17 y/o's) spent alot of time on this deck after dark hanging out. The surprise about this unit was how quiet it was in the master bedroom even being next to the hallway. The unit was very clean and new looking. We enjoyed the ammenities of the resort in fact we did not even get to use all of them. Now the only down side to the resort and not to the unit was the laundry unit was not working on our floor. Also with the old resort we had stayed at there was alot of beach area with this resort at high tide the beach area was at a premium. Over all we will be going back to the is resort for vacation again and especially to this unit. Thanks again Matt for a very nice rental unit for first timers at this resort,Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

I stayed with my wife and three kids the week of 6/18. The condo was clean and was great for our family. The kids(ages 2,6 and 8) loved the pools and lazy river/water park. It was a short walk to the beach. I wasn't a big fan of the resort restaurant, but with so many great places to dine in MB, it was not even an issue. I would recommend this condo to all!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the MB Resort in this unit. There were 4 of us staying and we found it to be spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The owners were great to work with and very responsive to our emails. I would recommend this unit and the owners to our friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Had to comment and recommend this wonderful condo that we rented during Spring Break. My family had rented from the resort before, but our usual condo in the A Building was already rented, so we took a chance with this condo, and what an awesome choice it was! Updated, clean, and comfortable! Several friends also stay in the A building and stopped in and commented on how beautiful it was. Another great feature of this condo was the accessibility to the sundeck which is attached, and yours to enjoy privately after dark. We were able to listen to the ocean waves and a enjoy a glass of wine out under the stars at night. All the appliances worked, as well as, having updated furniture that seated 4 to 6 comfortably. Not sure why noone has given a review of this place yet but it definitely needs one to give it due props for how nice it is. We had about 10 different families come through and say how beautiful the place was and that they wished theirs was that nice. Wanted the name and phone number so they could get it next time they came down. I believe the info does mention the private door to sundeck which I was skeptical it was all ours after a certain time of night.....but it is and our friends absolutely loved that too. It was so awesome to star gaze with a glass of wine by ourselves on the huge sundeck. OK..a few downsides which didn't bother us that much..elevator slow...but we took the stairs almost every day for exercise...and not as close to the ocean as the pic shows...but still an awesome view. Another great thing....the other side...opposite to the sundeck adjacent to this room is the northside sundeck which is open just before sunrise and the pictures are awesome from there. We went out every morning with a cup of coffee and enjoyed God's splendor. For the most part the resort was well kept but much work going on and a lot closed because of remodeling and updating while we were there. Didn't miss the stuff we couldn't get to anyway. Great experience and great owners.....don't hesitate to rent this place. You wont leave unsatisfied with the money you spent. Hoping to go back again next year. About the owner: We live in Boston MA, and love our Myrtle Beach condo. Myrtle Beach allows us to extend the summer months that we enjoy so much. We take great care of our condo because it is what we use for our vacations and one that we send family and friends to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Myrtle Beach Resort:
For over 10 years we have been vacationing at the Myrtle Beach Resort with family members that also own property. After seeing how consistently well the grounds were cared for and the number of activities in and around the resort, we took ownership of our unit in 2009. We personally use the unit about 3 weeks out of the year and wish we could spend more time! Myrtle Beach is a quick 1.5 hr direct flight for us and a quick escape from Boston's colder months. We chose this resort because we are an active, young, beach-loving family. We could spend 2 weeks within the resort at the beach, various pools and never get bored with all there is to do. We love to walk around the shops and eat at the restaurants at 'Broadway at the Beach' Just 15 mins. away. We take the kids for a jog around the new paths surrounding the ponds at the Market Common 2 miles away. We take walks at the woodsy state park next to the resort. We love that the resort is so close to everything, yet just far enough away from the busy downtown Myrtle beach area.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our unit is unique since it is located on the top (5th floor A building) with a huge adjoining sun deck. After dark, the sun deck is locked to the public, but we have a private door off of our balcony, great for viewing the frequent fireworks with friends at night. Being on the top floor also offers benefits to Winter renters who claim the top floor units are warmer during the few chilly weeks.
