This is a 3 bedroom, chalet style home located at Eagle Crest Resort in the sunny high desert of Central Oregon. The interior has the comfort and feel of a lodge, with knotty pine paneling, and pine pole features. The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking. High speed internet is provided in the home. There is a very private 6 person spa on the deck, and a short walk to The Ridge golf course, 18 hole putting course, and recreation center/spa. The smell of Sage and site of wildflowers await you as you drive up in the Spring and Summer!
The Eagle Crest Resort has many recreational opportunities including: golfing, outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, gym, spa, exercise rooms, miles of bike paths, horseback riding, fishing, play-parks (kids), planned kid/family activities, sitting on the deck and more. Activities nearby (within 1 hr drive): downhill and cross-country skiing (Mt. Bachelor, Hoodoo), hiking, rock climbing (Smith Rock State Park), fly fishing, white water rafting, more golfing, shopping (Sisters, OR; factory outlets-Bend, OR), swimming, mountain biking, and camping.

The description was very accurate as were the pictures...so very, very cute and comfy! super clean, very comfortable, clear instructions for use and care loved the washer/dryer and iron/board since we were dressing for wedding decor was interesting and enjoyable as opposed to kitschy or too generic hot tub was just right and enjoyable We wished for a fresh (pre-packaged) sponge at the kitchen sink kitchen towels and wash cloths smelled sour and I rewashed them— bath towels did too We were all very pleased with everything! My friend is a vacation manager and was overall very pleased with check-in process and instructions, and with the accommodations! We will come again! AND we would recommend to friends and family Loved that TJ's and Whole Foods were in area...had trouble finding gas stations would be great to have a list Did not eat out...or travel around as were there for a short time and a wedding...would love to come back and explore!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

I emailed at 10pm on December 30th wanting to rent the chalet the very next day. I told the owner it was ok for her to call me up until midnight. She called herself right at midnight and we booked the chalet. She made sure the unit was cleaned even though the property management company was closed on the 31st. We enjoyed New Years Eve there and the next 3 days. Our three boys LOVED it! The pictures posted do not do justice to the home. It is completely updated and darling! Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The price includes passes to the rec centers where we took advantage of indoor basketball, racquetball, an indoor pool and hot tub...not to mention the hot tub right out the back door. The boys went sledding everyday on the golf course right across the street. It was wonderful and we will return! Thank you for everything!!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We very much enjoyed our short stay at this lovely home. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable -- just wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms/beds were comfortable (great bed linens!) and though we didn't cook too much it was clear the kitchen has everything you could ever need. Great Wi-Fi, TV, etc. We were a small group of one mom and three teenage girls. The girls loved the pool at the sport center and also really enjoyed the hot tub. Eagle Crest is so relaxing, quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect quick getaway. Although Sun River has its own appeal, we liked the calmer and less-crowded environment of Eagle Crest, and there was still plenty to do. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Recently stayed at this home, with four adults and our dog. The house was clean and comfortable on arrival, would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay at eagle crest. Will definitely stay here again! Great price also!Recommended for: Pet owners.

I have stayed at this chalet a number of times and hopefully will come again. It's a lovely, rustic, woodsy unit that has all the amenities of home. Four of us stayed there on a quilting retreat and did not have time to sample any of the facilities at Eagle Crest. We didn't even have time to hot tub. Too busy quilting. We did have time to go for a walk. The trails through the sagebrush are good and well marked. It was a lovely fall day and we had the place to ourselves. We also took an afternoon off and went in to Bend to visit a couple of quilt shops. The ladies with me had never been to Eagle Crest to stay and they thoroughly enjoyed it. They were very impressed with the charm of the chalet. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to prepare full meals. We all loved our experience and look forward to coming back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My sister and I planned what we had anticipated would be an extremely relaxing weekend with our elderly mother at your home. We've done this annually at Eagle Crest in different properties for the past 4 years, so have several homes to compare yours to. We were pleasantly surprised with the cozy decor soon as entering the home, but quickly disappointed when we reached the living room furniture. The couch and chair are worn out and in desperate need of being replaced (as a 145 lb. person - I sunk close to floor level when seated), the couch was covered in pet hair and dander, and don't get me started on all the nastiness I discovered under the cushions when I had to take them off to vacume them before we dared use it! (Used q-tips, cereal, popcorn, more pet hair & dander...) DISGUSTING!!!! After thoroughly vacuming the furniture; we had to use bed pillows under the cushions to prop them up enough so our elderly mother could get up on her own) Next was the fireplace that was completely full of ashes from past renters. We had to also clean it before we could begin to use it! I EXPECT A HOUSE BE CLEAN AND READY FOR USE UPON ARRIVAL WHEN PAYING A NON-REFUNDABLE CLEANING FEE! I would also suggest installing ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom on second floor. It was extremely difficult to regulate the air temp throughout the house - you froze on 1st floor and roasted on the 2nd. (We've stayed in identical style chalets on "Red Wing Loop" that had ceiling fans - they made for a much more comfortable stay) The rest of the house was okay - beds were comfortable enough, kitchen had adequate pots & pans, bathrooms had plenty of linens, hot tub was clean w/working jets, etc...Owner response: We are very happy that you found our home to be nicely decorated! My husband teases me because I take such care that it should be cozy and cute. We work very hard to ensure that the kitchen is well stocked, along with the bathrooms, so I am happy that you noticed and commented on them – thanks. The beds are comfortable too. We just replaced the mattress upstairs to make sure that they are. We rent to people with small dogs because we are dog lovers ourselves. It does mean though that housekeeping needs to pay careful attention to the furniture because not everyone has little Fido sit on the floor. The housekeeper apparently had not done so – (more than once!) and so we are told she will not be working for the management company any more. We are very sorry that you were unhappy with the housekeeping in our home, so will be refunding the cleaning fee – in full. Please look for a credit on your card. I was disappointed too, to hear that the sofa had pet hair on it when you arrived. I had a similar experience when renting a house in Pennsylvania – except that the whole house, including the kitchen, was really dirty. My first instinct was to pick up the phone and call the manager. They send two housekeepers and scrubbed the place within an inch of its life. It made such a difference in our stay! We would have happily done the same for you. The agreement you signed when you rented from us through Marr Management encouraged you to call them on arrival if the housekeeping was not up to standard, and my cell phone number is posted on the refrigerator. We will inspect the sofa for damage when we are there next. It seemed fine when we were there last, so perhaps it was damaged in the meantime. We find that it is warm upstairs if we sleep with the door open. Recently we discovered that the warm, rising air goes straight into the air return and not into the master bedroom if we close the door. Our guest book at the cabin is full of thanks and positive comments from past guests. We, of course, wish that they would post them on VRBO, but we do think that many people have enjoyed their stay in our home. Why the Owner Chose Eagle Crest:
We love the area because the climate is wonderful, lots of outdoor activities, and friendly folks. This area has an average of only 6 inches of rain a year. The home is next to one of three golf courses on the resort, and many more are close by. We often go for hikes right from the home on BLM land (Cline Butte). World class rock climbing is minutes away. The home is approximately 1/3 mile from one of three rec centers on the resort, with a full spa, indoor pool, gym, work out facilities and outdoor hot tub.
