  My family stayed for 2013 spring break and had a wonderful time. Lots of good fishing off the adjacent docks (some have no houses and are essentially public). I also brought a Hobie 16 and sailed off of the beach out to dog island a few times. My two little girls and Boxer spent many many hours playing in the sand on the beach. Also, lots of good local seafood.

  This was I first year ever in Carrabelle FL. This is really a piece of heaven related to Vacation! My family enjoyed the relaxation! We enjoyed hours of fishing, and believe me we caught plenty of fish. we enjoyed crabing, and walking the beaches; just us! I did not see but two other people on the beaches while we were there! R&R IN ITS TRUE MEANING! We had such a wonderful time we will Vacation for ever in this house. The pictures reflect it perfect, and the owners are wonderful! Thanks, we will see you all in June of 2013

  we enjoyed our weekend at your home, the home was very comfortable, and quite. We enjoyed the local seafood, and walking on the beach. Visit to St. George Island is just a short drive. Although we didnt' catch many fish, we had a great get a way. My two yorkies enjoyed it too. thanks, and hope to go again sometime.

  Myself, husband and daughter just returned from a WONDERFUL pre-Christmas vacation at "Life's A Beach!" It was fantastic! The pictures portray the house exactly as you'll see it when you arrive. Nothing at all disappointing in this trip! Lots of quiet, relaxing family time and we enjoyed it so much! We also loved having our dog with us. This was his first vacation ever and he loved it as well. Things we loved most.....great walks on the private beach, star gazing, sitting on the covered/screened deck, and eating oysters at Fathoms Oyster Bar! The owner was so helpful and personable and we look forward to vising our "Happy Place" again real soon! Be blessed!

  This house was amazing! We loved the stay here and needed nothing. The house is "completley" furnished from furniture to spoons. The owners are also great people. Only thing I wish I could do different is to still be down there. Look forward to staying again next year.

  What a great place to relax and enjoy the splendors of Florida! The owners were fabulous, answering all our questions and making sure our stay was enjoyable. The house is beautiful, lots of comfy chairs for relaxing on the porch or out on the beach (pictures perfectly display setting). We enjoyed watching all the sea life from a public pier just down the way (jelly fish, hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs, starfish, blue crabs, sting ray, dolphins, and manta ray). The kids had the excitement of their life catching 3 foot long hammerhead shark look alikes. Great shelling, wave riding, dolphin watching just a short drive to St. George beach. Enjoyed seafood every night, only minutes from the best fresh seafood market and several good restaurants in the area. So peaceful and relaxing, wish were there now!

  Spent just three nights at "life's a beach" as a perfect way to decompress after a week in the "Villages." We think we had it backwards in hindsite. Should've spent just 3 at Villages and a week in and around Carrabelle. If you want to just 'chill' this is the place. ST George Island State Park is close enough to see it every day and for just $6.00 is well worth the amazing wildlife and solitude it offers and then coming back to "Life's a Beach" at sunset after eating at the area resturants (Angelos and Son's was our personal fave for fresh caught seafood) provided plenty of welcome relaxation. The beach in front of the property was JUST 20 STEPS from the water and the views of ST George and Dog Islands were fantastic at all hours of the day, especially while sitting on the deck with coffee in the AM or having a beer in the PM. The very warmly decorated beach home was well furnished, clean, with three bedrooms and two baths (and no downsides that we found). If you're looking for solitude in OLD Florida, this is the place. We are looking forward to booking a longer stay in the near future.

  This is a terrific place! The house seems brand new and is impeccably maintained. Spotless with gleaming appliances and a decor that was unmistakingly "beach vacation". The view is spectacular especially the stars at night. Neighboring (not too close) houses were empty so things were quiet and secluded. Just a short drive to town for great foor and drink. This, like most houses in the area, is on stilts so there are nearly 2 full flights of stairs to get in but worth the effort!!

  We really enjoyed staying here last summer. The house is beautiful and relaxing, and the owner is super helpful and kind. The only thing we hoped for was more beach with less seaweed.

  Arrived home yesterday from spending 4 nights at "Life's A Beach" and missing it already. The house is great with amazing scenery right out your window, comfortable beds and a kitchen with anything you could ever want. The fishing was a little lacking while we were there but we enjoyed shell hunting at the house and over on St George Island which is a short drive away. Enjoyed watching the dolphins while sunning at Carrabelle Beach. Loved the area...reminds me of the Keys! Hope to return someday...hopefully soon! Thanks for sharing this beautiful house with us.
