  Like most folks searching for a fabulous summer vacation home that will comfortably sleep at least 10 people ranging in age from 6 months to 85 years, I spent hours searching for the perfect house. Well, look no further, you have found the perfect place. Although I was somewhat unsure that the house would really live up to its description, it certainly did that and much more! It is better or maybe just more than can be described in words. This roomy house was very clean; the owner was easy to communicate with, and the price was right. Our extended family including our 85 year old mother enjoyed every day. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, grilled fresh fish from Garibaldi, walked to town for ice cream, read books and napped in the comfy chairs in the view room. In fact, we were scheduled to stay only 4 nights and loved it so much the entire group begged me to call and rent for one more night if available. Dreams do come true.....this house + great family + awesome view = Fabulous Summer Fun!

• Fantastic house

  We rented this beauty a couple of times and it is by far the nicest house we have ever rented at the coast! The kitchen is setup for a gourmet chef, the open floor plan makes it feel warm and inviting, and the bedrooms are big and spacious. The upstairs is a large bedroom with a separate sitting room with fantastic views if the water. The basement is set up with a mini kitchen, laundry and games (perfect for kids). The owners are really nice, responsive and very easy to work with. One real perk is this house is very wheelchair accessible. The access is up a paved driveway (which is too steep for anyone in a chair to navigate solo, but easy for an abled body person to push a wheelchair up). We loved staying at this house!

  We have been doing girls weekend for 30 years and this is the best house ever. I want to live here!! If this house doesn't have it you don't need it. Kitchen is 4 star. Great bathrooms, bedrooms, game room and the upstairs living space is beyond words with a view that will work during any kind of weather. If there is a better beach house out there I have yet to find it! The price was a bargain for what we got! Clean, comfortable, equipped to the MAX inside and out...Do yourself a favor and grab your friends and family rent this house and enjoy life as it was meant to be enjoyed!

  This is the perfect vaction home with everything you could want supplied for you. The views are amazing whether you are at the kitchen sink, or in the upstairs living area. The kitchen is a chefs dream with all the upgraded appliances at your disposal. The bedrooms are roomy, comfortable, and so thoughtfully decorated. Bathrooms have great showers and decor. The house is immaculate and well maintained. It's a home that is hard to leave once you stay there. I would highly recommend it to anyone. There are shops walking distance from the home. The owner does everything to make your stay perfect.

  We had such a great time here. The online descriptions are accurate and my expectations were fulfilled . I would rent again as well as tell my friends about it. There is nothing but sand between the house and the ocean .

  Our three families had an amazing weekend at this home. Not only is the home lovely and accommodating but the owner is a wonderful help. If you are traveling with kids they have thought of everything! Monitors, vibrating chairs, high chairs, pack-n-plays and even an exercise ball! It makes getting ready for the weekend so much easier knowing everything you need is right there. This doesnt even touch on the beauty of the home and the wonderful location. Overall we had an amazing experience and look forward to staying there time and time again.

  Owner response: I'm so glad I could make your trip easier. My kids say they can bring their toys (surf boards etc.) if they don't have to bring all the baby stuff. Kids, dogs, fun and the beach they just all go together!

  Our entire family stayed for three nights in August and we loved the entire experience. With eight adults and two kids there was plenty for each of us to do in this beautiful home. Everything we could have imagined or wanted was in the home, definitely makes packing easy. The kitchen was perfect to cook in with all of the upgraded appliances and ammenities that anyone could ever need. We enjoyed beach walks, bonfires and smores and making lots of great family memories. Thanks for everything!

  We stayed at this house in August 2010...and what a fabulous surprise it was to find it everything the description says and MORE! It's truly a breathtaking, yet comfy, home away from home. When you get there - you enter where the kids say "Wow Mom! This place ROCKS!" (Which is always a great start!) Then you tour throughout the rest of the house and find the kitchen - unspeakably spacious and beautiful - where you can truly cook all the meals in the comfort of your home away from home. You will spend a lot of time here just hanging amongst the modern day amenities. The bedrooms are comfortable and perfect in every way. Details are unimaginable throughout the house. There's lotion, soap, marshmallow roasters, alarm clocks, towels for every bathroom and EVEN towels for the dog outside! (Seriously!) The upstairs really is the VIEW ROOM...much more than you expect...and I can't wait to go back with just the family and sit and enjoy watching the surf on a winters' night! It's simply lovely. It is right there - on the beachfront and the sand is so soft and inviting. The patio off the house is cozy and spacious for all to hang out and enjoy a bevy while listening to the surf at night and star gaze. It's amazing. The owner is super cool too, which made this experience one I wish to come back to time and time again!!!!

  I searched for days trying to find the perfect vacation house for my in-laws 1st time visiting the Oregon coast. The minute I saw this one, with it's location and amenities I knew our vacation would be fantastic. When we arrived at the house it was better than the pictures. We had more than enough room in the house for the 3 couples, the kitchen was so much fun to cook in, it had everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the house was spotless. We spent most of our time on the beach so didnt utilize the games downstairs other than a few board games. The ocean and the fire pit were a perfect combination. The central location of Rockaway made it easy to travel north one day and south the next. We loved the property so much that are considering moving our extended family vacation to Rockaway Beach. The owners were great with communication. We had forgotten item when we had checked out, they returned my call quickly and we were able to retrieve the item before we left the area. We would highly recommend this beautiful, perfectly located home to everyone.
