Are you looking for a beautiful , comfortable, quiet, fun place to take your next holiday? Our Monarch Beach condo “Pelican’s Perch” is the perfect place for you! It is a place that you will want to return to again and again! Our lovely 2 bedroom ,2 bath condo is 100 paces from the famous Strands Beach (also called Salt Creek)and 20 paces from the pool and spa! You are walking distance to down town Dana Point, Restaurants, the Ritz Carlton Hotel, St. Regis Hotel, The Dana Point Harbor, coffee shops and more!!
Our 2 Bedroom condo is located on the ocean side of PCH in the upscale community of Monarch Beach. The condo has just been remodeled and everything is new! We have hardwood floors throughout and plantation shutters in the living room. In the living room there is a new leather couch with a pullout full size bed, a couple of beautiful chairs and a large flat screen TV with cable. We also have Wi-Fi in the condo for your convenience. The Kitchen has everything you will need to cook for yourself and/or your family. Or if you would rather go out for your meals just check the “Pelican’s Perch” Reference book for all of the great places to eat and do in the area! The Master bedroom has a gorgeous four poster bed sitting high above the floor , nightstands, dresser and a flat screen TV hidden in the closet for perfect viewing.
The second bedroom is our garden room. It has 2 twin size garden gate beds – that can be pushed together for a double or separate and pull the trundle out to sleep three! There are full bathrooms for each bedroom fully stocked with towels, toilet paper, soap, Q-tips, cotton balls, shampoo and conditioner.
The main patio has a gas BBQ grill with table and chairs, you will find the outside closet stocked with beach chairs, towels, pool & beach toys, umbrella and cooler.
Inside your coat closet you will find games, books, reference material and book, CDs, DVDs and more!
We are close to all of the southern California attractions: We are an hour from LA and an hour form San Diego – right in the middle! Disneyland and downtown Disney(35 min), Knott’s Berry Farm ( 30 min), Lego Land (30 min), Carlsbad Flower Fields( 30 min), SeaWorld(1 hour), San Diego Zoo and Balboa park(museums) (1 hour), SD Wild Animal Park (1 Hour), Universal Studios(1 hour), Magic Mountain Six Flags ( 80 min) and so much more!!

This property was a great find for us! The beach was just across the street, Legoland and Disneyland were about 40 minutes away. It was awesome to return "home" to a quiet neighborhood after packed theme parks. The unit was fully stocked and even had extras like games, movies, and beach toys. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an upscale quiet retreat!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family of 6 visited from July 13th-21st. Not many other rentals would have let us do that, they were all Saturday to Saturday. That is what sealed the deal for us. But what a surprise when we got there. The location was great. We did Disneyland and Comic Con, both at different ends of California. We were really central to what we wanted to do. The condo itself is well stocked with towels etc. Having the washer and dryer in unit was very helpful. The pool was great and the beach spectacular. I would recommend Pelican's Perch to anyone and everyone!! Couldn't be more pleased with our stay! Thanks for the awesome memories!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We are a family of 5 that spent 2+ weeks there. This condo is a beautifully decorated home with everything you could possible imagine at our fingertips!! It is very clean and so well organized. There is more room than we thought and it provided the perfect home for our family. The location could NOT have been more perfect. You can walk to the beach and the pool and is in the perfect location in SoCal to see and do everything. It was also a fantastic experience working and talking with the owner. A must stay!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had a great vacation at Pelican's Perch. The pictures are very true of the condo. What you see is what you get. The beds were comfortable and condo was clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool just a few steps away and the beach was really just a short walk across the street. We had a great time and would stay here again if we are back in the area. Thanks!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

About the owner: My name is Doug Gian and I live most of the time in Connecticut. I am retired and love visiting the Dana Point/monarch Beach area so see my daughter and grandchildren. I had rented several years in the Niguel Beach Terrace and fell in love with it. My daughter is an established Realtor in the Southern Orange county area and thought it would be a perfect time to buy this investment property!! Enjoy it!!
