  Great apartment tucked away in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Completely accurate description of apartment. Subway was right around the corner with great access to NYC. We drove from Ohio and had no problem finding a parking spot on street. It was perfect for our girls getaway for 3 days. Owner was accessible to us at all times and was very helpful with information. I definitely recommend it for a clean quiet accommodating place to stay. If and when I return to visit I will stay here again!

  I have visited and stayed in Brooklyn many times the past 8 years and for location, price, quality and service, this was by far the best experience and value. The accommodations are immaculate and so convenient, I would prefer to stay in Brooklyn (here) than in Manhattan. The owners are very responsive and helpful which made my stay even more pleasant. I wish them continued good success.

  We rented Sackett A for a week and Sackett B for four days. We were very comfortable in both. They were spotless and well equipped. They are convenient to subways and to the wonderful Carroll Gardens neighborhood, which has great restaurants and fun shopping. Jamie couldn't have been easier to work with and the info she sent us about the neighborhood was most helpful. We would certainly rent from her again!

  We have a big, extended family so we usually rent three apartments from Joe and Jamie at the same time. Two in this building and one around the corner. Done this several times now and each time has been an absolute blast. These guys are the perfect hosts/landlords. Apartments are well-equipped and very clean. Beds are comfortable. You don't want to leave home, but you must! There's so much to do just steps away -- shopping, eating, drinking (and there's a great park across the street if you've brought younger kids along). Plus -- the F subway from the corner takes you to Manhattan in a matter of minutes. We'll be back!

  My family (2 adults & 2 children) stayed in this Brownstone for 5 days and really enjoyed ourselves. The owners were very helpful and close by just in case you have any questions or need anything. The Brownstone itself was spacious enough for a family of four and very well maintained. What we really enjoyed most was staying in Brooklyn. The area was very safe and there are so many restaurants and shops in the area, making it a nice place to go for a walk in the evening. The subway entrance is only a couple blocks from the Brownstone and the trip to Manhattan is about 25 minutes. The neighborhood is a great place to come home to at the end of the day. It gives you a break from all the other tourists in Manhattan. I would definitely stay here again.

  Stayed in Carroll Gardens house for my daughters wedding and it was perfect. Excellent location to everything we needed to do and subway right down the street. Only a short walk to my daughters apartment in Brooklyn Heights. Loved being across street from cute park with farmers market on Sunday morning. Many "really good" restaurants within easy walking distance....my husband walked out for coffee early every morning and tested out four different places. Wedding was at Frankies 457 Spuntino, again within walking distance, and was fabulous. Thank you Jamie and Joe for sharing your beautiful brownstone with us. We will be back.

  We loved this house! Everything you need is here. The suite is every bit as nice as the pictures suggest. There are numerous restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance and a Subway station on the corner of the street with direct lines to both Manhattan & Coney! This is the 1st time we havnt stayed in a Manhattan Hotel and we found it so much more comfortable and relaxing! Especially after a long day exploring the sights. The only thing we didnt like about this area was that we had to leave!

  We recently had my folks from California stay for two weeks at the Carroll Gardens House. It was absolutely PERFECT! Spotless, extremely comfortable and spacious (the suite was bigger than my own apartment!). The innkeepers were extremely accommodating and super friendly. The location could not be better - convenient to the subway, Carroll Park and all the shops and restaurants of Court and Smith Street. This will become a 'home away from home' for them!

  Carroll Gardens House was the perfect way to visit NYC. The proprietors, Jamie & Joe, are gracious hosts and keep their properties inviting and convenient for their guests. The furniture is comfortable and clean and the kitchen amenities were just right. And everything is decorated quite tastefully, also! My husband and I have stayed at both guest house locations and they are equally lovely in wonderful neighborhoods. The metro station (F-train) is close by, as are several small shops and so many great places to get coffee, pastries, sandwiches, newspapers, etc. And so many restaurants nearby, too! The area of Carroll Gardens has a rich Italian history, so you are sure to find a great pizza and/or veal parmigiana any way you turn!! We also enjoy eating at Cubana Cafe on Smith Street -- try a "Cuban" sandwich in this establishment's fun atmosphere! Because it only takes about 20 mins. to get into Manhattan, we also go into the city to eat and are particularly fond of "Lupa" on Thompson Street in Greenwich Village.(probably because our son is a sous chef there!) They are known for their wonderful pasta dishes and selection of wines. Ever since we discovered CGH over a year ago, we have decided that this is our new "NYC accommodations" of choice -- why stay in the city as a stranger, when you can stay just 20 minutes from the heart of the activity in your own apartment in a great neighborhood that you feel connected to. And the cost is much better on the wallet, too! Sue from Cape Cod, MA
