We have just returned from our stay at this charming vacation home on the Cape and we were well pleased. I scoured the VRBO listings for months trying to find the perfect rental to call home while on the Cape for our daughter's wedding. This charming home in Dennis was it! It is so much more spacious than it appears in the photos. The large, fully equipped kitchen is a wonderful place to prepare and serve meals. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and tons of closet space. The living room is comfortable with a nice size futon for that "unexpected" guest! My favorite room in the house was the fabulous year round screened in porch off the kitchen. We had spectacular weather and spent each evening relaxing on the porch while the cool Cape breeze flowed through this large, airy room. The huge deck was perfect for entertaining. This house went above and beyond fitting our needs, and we can't wait to return next year. The owner was prompt and very professional. When it comes to Cape value....this charming home is a steal!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This year my husband and I spent two weeks (August 28-September 11) at this location and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The listing was exactly as described, but the enclosed porch and the deck were both much more spacious than we had expected. We made excellent use of the outdoor grill and enjoyed several meals on the full-sized picnic table on the deck. The property was clean and well-maintained, and is in a perfect spot for beach lovers because the town of Dennis has many beautiful beaches, and if you purchase the permit from the town, you have access to all of them. We waited until after 4 p.m. for our beach excursions, so parking was always free for us. We fell in love with the Dennis Public Market a few blocks away and found wireless internet access at the Mercantile and at the Dennis Public Library which are both close by. One of the best things about the location is its proximity to the Cape Cod Cinema where we delighted in movies and freshly popped corn. The owner was more than gracious and answered all of our questions quickly via email. The security deposit we sent was returned to us even before the owner had cashed our original check. This property delivered great value for our vacation dollars. I would highly recommend this property to everyone except that I'm afraid in doing so the property will not be available the next time we're looking for the perfect Cape Cod rental. I would say, however, that the futon in the living room could only make a comfortable sleeping arrangement for the young and nimble.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
