Amazing Views of Salt Marsh, Private Dock, Easy Walk to Beach

  My husband and I along with our 11 yr old stayed at Sunset Cove for a week the end of July along with a friend from high school and members of her family. The layout of the house accomodates two families well, with each having privacy but also plenty of together space. The dock is incredible. We brought our kayak and enjoyed exploring at high tide. My son loved baiting the crab trap on the dock and catching blue crabs, which provided wonderful meals. The house is very well equiped and comfortable. The Mermaid Cottage staff is customer service at it's very best! David provided dining suggestions (which were incredible) and Denise is always standing by ready to be of assistance should the need arise.

  Was very pleased with this cottage for part of our family to stay in for a family reunion. It had a nice area on the enclosed porch for game nights. We had a large group and always gathered at Sunset Cove to be together

  "spacious home, really comfy beds!" Last minute plans worked out splendidly with Diane and Barbra in charge at Mermaid Cottages! The house had sooo much space for our family of 6 and the beds made us sleep like Rip Van Winkle! All the amenities were there for us, unlikesome rentals: coffee, cooking utensils, blowdryer, shampoo, soap, etc... And a big plus...the dock was a favorite hangout!!!

  "Family's Celebration - 50th Wedding anniversary!!!" The Sunset Cove location was perfect for our long weekend on Tybee. My husand and his parents are from Savannah so we choose Tybee as the place to celebrate their 50th Wedding anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect location and setting for the event. We had a Low Country Boil on the back patio area and there was plenty of space to roam around. The dock was a great place to "get away" from the crowd if you needed some alone time. We fished, played cards, laughed and a great time was had by all!! Thank you!!

  "Excellent Vacation Home!" My husband and I vacationed on Tybee for the entire month of March this year with our 4 small children. We were forced out of our first rental home (not a mermaid cottage) due to some "unwelcome" guests... the four legged kind (yikes). Mermaid Cottages was fantastic in finding us a house that would accommodate our large family and small dog in record time. The home is very large, so large in fact that my husband & I had some of our first nights sleep in a long time. The layout of the home make it perfect for two families as well. The dock was fantastic with some gorgeous sunsets. The car pavillion proved a perfect ball bouncing space for the children and the yard was perfect for our small yorkie. Bring nothing if you rent this home... it is complete with everything you will need including washer & dryer, pots & pans, dishes galore and every kitchen appliance imaginable. We love Tybee and will be back next spring. Thanks Mermaid Cottage for giving us yet again another dream vacation. The Heatons

  "Relaxing" We enjoyed our visit it was right next to my daughters house and we celebrating a graduation, birthdays and fathers day. Away from the crowd and not to far to walk to where you want to go. Nice sunset view from dock and very roomy and comfortable.
