The house was perfect for our vacation - located far enough away to be in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, but close enough to walk to the supermarket and Embarcadero. The house we well equipped both for cooking an relaxing. I was pleased to find a nice selection of DVDs for viewing as well as full cable hookup to watch tv is desired. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a view of the ocean and rock from the yard. The fenced yard was a perfect place for our pets to exercise and explore without worry. Perfect vacation experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our stay was great!!! The listing was extremely accurate in details and photos. The owner was easily reachable and great communications. We had our two kids 15, 10yo and they loved the house rather than a hotel. It was cozy and just wonderful for our family. Cant wait till we returnDid you find this review helpful? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Morro Bay, the weather was perfect every day! The house certainly met our needs, the fenced yard worked really well for the dogs! Location was great in getting around the local attractions. The kitchen was very well equipped for our cooking needs, and it was obvious that there were efforts made to make the little house feel warm and inviting! We had some difficulty with all the floors being hard surfaces for our older dog..she finds it hard to feel secure in her footing on bare floors, but we managed to strategically place the throw rugs! We were concerned at first that there wasn't much in the way of towels in the home, but on the second day we found all that we needed....still in the dryer out back. We had some really lovely dining experiences at the local restaurants, thanks for the suggestions. The dogs had great fun running on the beach and in the surf at the off leash beach, and we found a very nice off leash park too! We love this area of California!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children.

Coming from Canada, Morro Bay is not a place we had heard anything about, we're so happy we chose it for a stay, and even happier to have been able to enjoy it from this base. The bungalow is comfortable, spacious and well-appointed, full of natural light and a great place to relax. We found everything we needed to cook a few meals, enjoy time by the living room fireplace or outside in the yard. Hearst Castle was a quick drive away and we particularly enjoyed exploring the hiking trails in Montana de Oro State Park, again a discovery for us. Thanks for making the start of our California trip so great. We'd love to come back another time for a longer stay in Morro Bay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My Wife and I usually take a break from the hum of life during the Holiday Season. So we rented this great little house the last week in December and helped bring in the New Year. We had a great time there and really got a good vibe from the neighbors and people in the area. Our dog was with us and she enjoyed the luxury of an enclosed yard. Best of all when the people who picked up the trash saw her, they offered her a bisquit! My wife loves to hike, so we enjoyed the hiking trails in the area.and would love to jaunt to the embarcadero for sunset with the dog. We plan to get back there soon!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

This charming cottage is close enough to walk to the ocean but far enough away to feel part of a neighborhood. We enjoyed the sun streaming in the many windows in the morning. In the evening when a chill came on it was cozy to have the fire going. There were no surprises other than how all the little decorations make us feel at home at once.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My son and I stayed here just before Christmas and although it rained a good deal of the time, we really had fun. My 17-year-old kid has autism and is not "into" Christmas so we usually try to find an escape somewhere to the coast over the holidays. The house is so beautiful and decorated in a style that is cool and relaxing. The amenities were just what we required and once the sky cleared, we walked down to the Embarcadero and all over town, just to check things out and get some fresh air. We did a number of mini road trips (because he loves car rides), to Los Osos, to Cambria, to Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande. Everything is easy to get to, and since he also likes to shop, we hit many stores as well. It's a small house but very cozy, clean and comfortable. And the weekly rate is just perfect, compared to other rentals in the area. Thanks too to Megan who made it all very easy. I work full-time and our life is super stressful, but now I have a wonderful memory of a terrific week. Hopefully we can come back sometime during the warmer weather and hit the beaches. That would be a blast!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

As we drove towards the house, we immediately noticed the nicely groomed patio which the family eventually spent nice hours just chatting around the table while bbq'n. And as we entered the house, we were equally impressed with the cozie decor, clean throughout and obvisouly remodeled with attention to detail. We had small children so we had to move some of the decor out of the way, but our little family had a wonderful time in the lovely home with its perfect location. It had everything we needed for our stay; newer non-stick cookware, clean towels, wifi and a usuable bbq grill. Absolutely recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.
