  On our fifth visit to St. John, my husband and I stayed at Sol Inclination for a week with a group of friends. What an amazing experience! The house is high up on a hill, very private, with amazing views 24 hours a day. Gorgeous sunrises (and moonrises) over Ram's Head, sunsets over Ditleff Point, and at night we could see every star. True, as others have pointed out, it's a little further from town than other rentals we've stayed at..but for us, the views and privacy were well worth the extra 5 minute drive. I loved that all of the bedrooms have ensuite baths and their own fabulous views. Very comfy beds and quality linens, which not all rental properties have. The house and its amenities were exactly as described online, and Marc was very helpful in answering our questions prior to the trip. Kitchen was large and well-stocked. Overall the home is extremely well-maintained with gorgeous surrounding landscaping- Lots of tropical color and so nice to have a lawn area! The pool deck is on the small side as others have pointed out, but there's plenty of lounging space nearby on the lawn and the covered patio. Loved the outdoor shower and I have to mention the hot tub- Sounds crazy but with the cooler nighttime breezes it was nice to have. The view from the hot tub is lovely too. As an experienced vaca home renter I found this home to be an amazing value for all you get- views, comfort, luxury, privacy, amenities. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends. For a day sail, check out Kekoa at blacksailsvi.com. Their all-girl crew will take great care of you! For dining out, our group enjoyed delicious food at The Terrace, La Tapa, Sam and Jacks (get the Uncle Peep), and Driftwood Dave's (get the ribs). And be sure to get fresh fish from the Fish Trap market to grill on the Weber grill. St. John in general is just an amazing destination for those who appreciate the beauty of nature, a laid-back lifestyle and unspoiled beaches that aren't overcrowded or overdeveloped. My husband and I love it and we'll keep coming back!

  my family and i had the most wonderful week at Sol Inclination. the house is even more beautiful than its pictures. the view is amazing! i watched the sun rise each morning from the veranda and set each night from the hot tub. very peaceful spot. we cooked in most nights which was easy due to the well-stocked kitchen. the property was extremely clean and well-maintained. marc was great answering all our questions prior to arrival as well as on the island. he met us at the car rental spot and brought us to the grocer before heading to the house. the driving on the island can be a bit scary at first but after going up and down the mountain a couple times it ended being quite fun! the beaches are first rate. we loved cinnamon bay and trunk bay. i've vacationed on many islands in the past and i must say St. John is now top of the list. The beaches are peaceful and relaxing...no loud watersports or vendors trying to sell stuff to you like on other islands. we snorkeled at Trunk Bay and learned to paddle board at Cinnamon Bay. plenty of restaurants and shopping, too. St. John and Sol Inclination is now a top spot on our family's vacation destination list!!!! We will be back!!!

  From the minute we arrived at the villa we knew we had made a good choice booking Sol Inclination. It is comfortable, beautifully maintained and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed the tranquility and privacy of the location so much that we are already planning a return visit.

  This villa was everything we hoped it would be! The main house had a great kitchen, the two master suites were amazing, the guest house below the pool was also perfect, beds were all very comfy, there was AC everywhere, beach chairs, beach bags, nice towels, hairdryers, this villa met all of our expectations. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool, most of all we enjoyed getting up and watching the sunrise every morning that we were there...I miss it! My husband never used the AC he enjoyed open windows and listening to the crickets at night. He also loved the outdoor shower. It was a very quiet and private villa. The one con would be the door locks on the bedrooms in the guest house...we were locked out...they should just get rid of them!

  My husband and I just got back from vacationing with two other couples and we had a GREAT time at Sol Inclination at Fish Bay. During our week stay the weather was 86 everyday and we caught the full moon. The bedrooms had plenty of room for two people and all came with private baths, some included an outdoor shower. We felt right at home in the privacy of the many decks and sitting areas in the home. Dinner was cooked in the kitchen stocked with all the ammeneties of home and enjoyed on the outside patio by the entire group. The patio was perfect for relaxing, having drinks together, playing charades, dancing in the moonlight or jumping in the pool. The views were unbelievable! As far as activities, our favorite beaches were Cinnamon Bay Beach and Trunk Bay Beach, we had a fabulous lunch and a lot of fun at Skinny Legs, and took great pictures of the Sugar Mill Plantation ruins.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We were 5-7 people depending on the week and were there from 2/11-2/25. Sol Inclination is everything you see on the website. The view is to die for, the house beautiful, the amenities perfect. We used all four bedrooms and all were well appointed. The bedrooms in the guest house had queen beds and there were kings beds in the main house. The blue bedroom in the main house had an outside shower and a tub (never used the tub..too much water needed for an island in need of that!), and was a little smaller than the red bedroom. The water pressure wasn't the greatest but that's to be expected in the islands. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need..including insulated grocery bags for traveling! The pool and hot tub were fabulous..the pool was on the small side but we knew that going in. It was perfect for us. There are noodles, rafts, tons of (new) beach chairs, coolers, and even a beach bag. The hot tub was hot and we used it almost every day. The view from the upper deck could not be beat...sunrise, sunset, massage, reading or simply villaxin'..the upper deck was the place to enjoy it all! Stargazing was second to none from the comfy lawn chairs. The driveway was a bit scary, but we got used to it after a few days. I would highly recommend Sol Inclination to anyone looking for quality accommodations, solitude, and an incredible view.

  My husband and I, and our two teenagers just spent a wonderful week at Sol Inclination. Everything about the villa was fabulous, and far exceeded our expectations. The house was lovely, with two large bedrooms upstairs (with very nice comfortable beds), each with an incredible bathroom. The master bathroom has an outdoor stone shower with gorgeous views of Ram's Head. Everyone in the family loved to use it! We couldn't believe the privacy of this villa. We never saw or heard another person for the entire week. Just the breeze and the birds. It was so restful! The house is nestled right at the top of Skytop, high above Fish Bay, with absolutely amazing 180 degree views of the park to the east, St. Croix to the south, and sunsets over Ditliff Point to the west. Downstairs is a very comfortable living room with a flat screen TV over a gas fireplace. There were also two other small rooms on each floor. The one on the main floor has a queen sofabed which was perfect for our son. The upstairs extra room had a nice couch and TV and single sofabed. There was WiFi that worked well throughout the house. The kitchen was beautiful, and so well stocked that I could cook anything there. The second floor veranda was great for sunsets. The front grassy area had nice lawn chairs for lounging, and the hot tub and pool were wonderful. The entire house is surrounded by lush landscaping and beautiful flowers. The hardest thing was deciding where to hang out! There is also a guest cottage just below the pool, with its own deck, but it is not rented out separately. The road to the villa was paved the entire way. It did have a few interesting switchbacks, fairly typical for St. John, but we got used to it, and the trip into town was short compared to the Coral Bay area. The manager Marc was great to work with. He answered all our email questions promptly. We were met at the dock, taken to the car rental place, then to the grocery store, then led to the villa. He was available to answer any questions we had during the week. The entire rental process was easy and very pleasant! We enjoyed the Reef Bay hike (with the boat ride back into town), a lovely sail and snorkel on the Long Distance, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, and the donkeys! We can't wait to return to St. John and Sol Inclination.

  We just returned from an eight day stay on St, John. We have stayed in many lovely villas in the Caribbean over the last fifteen years. Sol Inclination now stands out as the very best. The location, the breath taking views and the design of the house make it very comfortable and serene. The varied and incredible vistas and the privacy by the park are paired with welcome breezes for an experience of total relaxation and beauty. We found the drive from Cruz Bay to be reasonably short with the paved road to the villa being a welcome feature. All amenities were clean and functional. The pool and hot tub were carefully maintained. We enjoyed the lush and beautiful landscaping which adds to the enjoyment of Sol Inclination. The view of the stars every night from the hot tub were an awe inspiring end to each restful day. Marc, the property manager, was helpful and a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to return to Sol Inclination.

  Staying here is true luxury! The villa is gorgeous and very private, situated at the highest point of the hill, we literally felt "on top of the world". It's beautifully decorated... like stepping into a magazine and it's equipped with everything you could want. It was so comforting that the property manager, Marc was there to help us get settled in and available if there was a problem. This was our 3rd and BEST trip to the USVI. After staying at Sol Inclination we're spoiled for everything else... it is absolutely perfect.

  We just came back from ten days on St. John, where we stayed at Sol Inclination villa. The online pictures and descriptions were entirely accurate. If anything, the villa was more beautiful in person! The mountaintop setting provides the most incredible vistas in every direction. We could even see St. Croix most of the time. The villa was spacious and well equipped and we didn't lack for anything, including the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets! The steep drive up to the villa is rather intimidating at first, but we quickly adapted and even enjoyed the ride. You can't go wrong in choosing this villa for your vacation in St. John. We certainly hope to return.
