Beautiful...but some issues

Stayed at this beautiful property in October - our family with 6 adults and 3 kids fit quite comfortably. Overall, we had a good time; however, there were a few issues that decreased the "star rating" of our stay. The master bedroom hot tub was broken, lights for the outside hot tub didn't work, and there were some housekeeping issues such as used washcloths in the shower and a moldy hot dog in the microwave. But the biggest issue was communication - maybe I should have been wary when I contacted the owner with a simple question before we went and never heard back! We contacted both the local representative and the owner of this home - both while we were there, and once we got back, regarding the issues we had - never heard back from anyone or got any issues resolved :( Although we did have a good time, our family recommends picking a different cabin, where communication and problem-solving will hopefully be better!

We had a great time and it comfortably fit our family of 8. Tubing, whitewater rafting, hiking the Smokies, horseback riding, fishing and more.

Myself and two friends just got back from the amazing Peak-A-View cabin! We had a wonderful vacation in a gorgeous, non-touristy, convenient spot. You are 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge in one direction and close to Cades Cove in the other. The all wood cabin is gorgeous enough to want to keep you in for your trip! We got a little too up close and personal with the local wildlife, including an unforgettable experience with a very handsome and hungry bear. Overall, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to a friend in a heartbeat. Thanks Don for sharing your property with us!

Our family stayed in your beautiful Peak-A-View cabin in July. It is now September, and the kids are back in school, but I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had. The cabin is more than what the pictures show, and there is no describing the views. The location is just the right amount of privacy and convenience. We have two boys, and our two nieces joined us on our vacation. Whether they were fishing in your lake, or tubing down the local river, all had a great time. Four happy kids! It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you for a very memorable vacation.

I must say that your cabin was more than I expected. It was one of my most memorable vacations. From the beauty that surronded us, to the bear, racoons, turkeys and everything else that goes with the Smokey Mountains. The cabin was more than your pictures display. This cabin is everything promised plus more. Beautiful and clean. GREAT location close to all of the sites, yet far away from the tourists. Very relaxing and quiet. Great place to unwind. Close to the smokies, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We had a great week here and you will too.

We arrived last night at about 7:30 pm. The cabin was so beautiful we had to pick our jaws up off the ground before coming inside. It knocked our socks off.

We first would like to thank you for the week in your cabin!! It was the first time I had stayed in a cabin and your place was way beyond what I had expected. All the sights around this area were great and your cabin was in a great location for all of them.

We had a tire blow out on I-40 near Ashville NC. Made me wonder how our vacation would be. But, when I walked through the door, the feeling this cabin gives made it all worthwhile. We really enjoyed our stay at Peak-A-View. This was our families first time to the mountains and from the cabin to the surroundings, it was all beautiful. My sons caught a bass and a few bream from the lake. We had family foosball tournaments along with a lot of time for family discussions, sitting on the deck, in the hot tub or just cozy in the den.

Your cabin is the most beautiful accomadations that we have ever stayed at! We found you on the internet after we typed in "Mountain getaways". It's always scary booking or purchasing anything online, because you just never get what you see. But in this case, it's more than we expected. I love everything about this cabin especially all the wood work that went into it. My favorite though is the loft bedroom. Just something about that theme!

We have had a wonderful time here at Peak-A-View. We rented your cabin off of the internet and we couldn't have come here and picked a better place in person. This cabin was cozy yet tastefully decorated. Thanks for letting us join in on a great wilderness adventure. Thanks So Much!

We had a great time staying in your cabin. There is a total of ten of us, so this cabin was perfect. Gatlinburg was a blast. We bought combo tickets and went to all of the "Ripley's" places. Pigeon Forge was really neat too! The cabin is really close to a lot of things. Thats great for those of us who don't like riding in the car. This is a beautiful place. Thank you for letting us enjoy it. Hope we can come back again soon.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin , its beautiful. We would love to have the plans for it, this is what we want in Kentucky. We wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back very soon.
