This Condo is just as described. We stayed for a week on our fall break and had a Great vacation. Our 11 year old daughter and her friend loved the pool being right outside the patio doors. The owners are very easy to work with and even called to make sure we got checked in ok and were enjoying our vacation. This condo is perfect for a small family, and the Waters Edge property is beautiful. Thanks Kelli, we hope to return in the summer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

I stayed here June 2011 for my birthday. It was exactly as described! The location was great and the accomodations were very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. I liked working directly with the owner who was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I live here in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida just across the Brooks Bridge from Okaloosa Island where this Unit is located. Well, all work and no play is not a good thing, so I began looking for a condo so I could take a little R & R from the everyday grind and we luckily ran across this condo. Ground floor right by the pool, SO convenient! Parking garage out front to keep your car cool and protected during the hot summer months. The condo was spotless and so tastefully decorated...granite countertops...all the accessories you need...beach towels, cooking utensils, etc. Also, free Wi-Fi. This is a meticulously maintained property. Maintenance and other employees keep and eye out for you and keep the grounds and buildings spotless. Living here and seeing less than stellar properties, I would definitely recommend this one. And even though it is a 1 bedroom, it also has 2 bunk beds in the hallway and a pull-out sofa, so it could accommodate up to 6 people. The owners are wonderful to work with and LOVE repeat guests. The location couldn't be better...BEACH FRONT!!! Also, close to SO many activities, The Gulfarium, Indian Temple Mound, Downtown Ft. Walton Beach Shops, Parasailing, Paddleboarding, Boat and Waverunner rentals and so many good restaurants and shops. And just a short drive to Destin. I can't wait until I have more time off so I can take more R & R at this condo and will recommend to my friends and family!!! So, what are you waiting for???Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo is in a great location for families with small children. Located on the first floor, close to the pool, and only a short distance from the beach and grill area. Nicely furnished with comfy beds. The sand toys, beach towels, and extra beach chairs are an added bonus too! The owners are great and very easy to communicate with. Can't wait for our next visit.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We can't say enough good things about this property. Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. Perfect location, convenient to everything while away from congested areas. Serene, peaceful easy going environment. Family friendly. Has that small town feel while at the same time it has everything you could want close by. Everything you see on the listing description is true. You will want to go back. It will be a favorite vacation that you will think about every time you start to plan another vacation. Highly recommend Silver Sands Outlet Mall and the Commons for shopping and Steamers just down the street is our favorite place to eat with exception of the grill and patio area just outside your front door with an ocean view, can't beat that. You will never want to leave. The beach is the most beautiful beach you will ever see. The sunrise and sunsets are unbelievable. We love to collect sand dollars and shells. Private, quiet and secure and safe. Well maintained. Great pool. Great parking. No hassles of any kind. Beach chair service is great. Very soothing and healing to your soul. It will renew your strength and energy and lift your spirits. Great for any age from infant to elderly. No steps or elevators or long walks from parking to the condo. No long walk to the beach. The beach is right outside your door! Great walks on the beach. We have walked and driven the entire beach area and can tell you this is the best place in the area, biggest best pool and location on the beach. Our family made so many wonderful memories here and we will always be grateful for our time here. There is something very special about this place. We have been here at different times of the year and we recommend coming whenever you get a chance to get away because it will be a wonderful experience for you no matter how long or short your stay is or what time of the year you come. You have made a great choice. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Staying here will be one of the best decisions you every made! About the owner: We are an Air Force family of five. We have enjoyed staying at Waters Edge over the years and look forward to our visits each and every time. This is our only vacation property and we hope to keep it for years to come.
Why the Owner Chose Waters Edge:
We lived in the area while my husband was assigned to Eglin AFB. We love the beach and wanted to invest in property that we love. The beach seemed like an ideal location for both.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Okaloosa Island condos are restricted in size and height so you have more freedom to enjoy the beach. We are situated between Ft. Walton and Destin, so you can skip the traffic if you want, or hop over either way for dinner or more fun. Our condo was built in 2003 and has been well-maintained, both inside and out. The beachside pool is fabulous!!!!
