Island Dunes is conveniently located on COTTON BAYOU and just across from the COTTON BAYOU BEACH ACCESS**(see description below).
The complex includes a recently constructed FISHING PIER with 13 BOAT SLIPS; these slips are available on a first come, first served basis (always plenty of room). The pier area includes fish cleaning station with table, running water and light.
There is a bayside pool with sundeck area and patio furniture, gazebo w/ picnic table and grills also located on the property. Kid friendly grounds with open natural landscape for the kids to explore and run off steam.......
The Gulf State park boat launch is located next door and there is open natural landscape to the opposite side of the property. THE PASS IS APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE by boat......then out to open sea for fishing!
Beachable watercraft also welcome: jet skis, small sailboats, kayaks or canoes.
Enjoy early morning coffee or sunset on the balcony overlooking Cotton bayou. Kitchen includes: microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, cooking utensils and dishwasher. Washer and dryer are located in unit.
Unit is located on first level with assigned parking for up to 2 cars underneath unit.

**Cotton Bayou Beach
This public beach area is located 5.1 miles east of Alabama Highway 59 and .2 mile west of Ala Highway 161. Just east of Orange Beach Blvd.(Hwy 161) on the south side of Perdido Beach Blvd. Nice wide beach. Bath house with showers on the boardwalks. The Cotton Bayou beach access area has restrooms, outdoor showers and free parking. The beach is a short walk from the parking lot.

Great hiking and biking trails begin just next door. Located directly across the street from Cotton Bayou state park beach complex (with showers and picnic tables). Also situated just next door to the state park boat launch. The complex itself has a great pier and boat dock - located approximately one mile from the pass - which offers access to the Gulf.

The condo is very convenient to the beach and for boat owners. The owners were friendly and responsive to all of our needs (and extremely prompt in returning an item left behind!). Great location.....close to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. We had a great time!

The place was just across from the beach. The best and cleanest beach in the area. No oil was seen. The location was perfect. There was a public supermarket 2 minutes away. It was central to all the restaurants. It was a very quiet location. The condo was very clean. All the amenities were provided like towels, sheets, plates, pans etc. We did not have a boat. But it was fun watching the ones that did. The pool was close to the condo and well maintained. I would return to that same location and recommend it to my friends.

Wow! We had a wonderful time at Island Dunes! It was an immaculate condo minutes away from all the fun yet in a quiet little area on the water. We can't wait to get back there!

We spent last week at this condo. The location was perfect for my teens, who were able to walk to the beach. It's close to lots of great restaurants and there's plenty to keep the kids busy too. The condo is clean and spacious, with all of the things that make home comfortable. We had a great week! The owners were very good to work with -- we will probably rent it again.

What an amazing weekend! The owners were wonderful to work with - very hospitable - and went out of their way to make sure our stay was exceptional. We booked last minute (within the week) for Memorial Day weekend and they were extremely accomodating. The condo itself was very clean with all of the linens and kitchen supplies you would need. We docked our boat at the boat slips and never had a problem getting the same slip each day. There was never a shortage of slips and it was a holiday weekend at the beach! The location was ideal for boating around in Orange Beach with easy access to Robinson's Island, Ole River, Terry Cove and the Pass. I would highly recommend this condo and would love to stay here again!

This is a cozy 2 bedroom condo. The hall bath is huge and there is plenty of room to spread out. Nice large patio with a view of the boat docks and back bay area. Condo was in great condition. Plenty of kitchen supplies and a refrigerator with ice maker (always a plus!) Boat dock had a place to clean fish and plenty of room, and is close to everything by water. Nice a quite. Plenty of room to park two cars. We had a wonderful weekend at this condo. I would recommend giving this place a try, especially if you have a boat.
