This magical log cabin is located high on a hillside in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, just 45 min. SE of Colmubus, OH. It is also 6 miles East of all the caves and waterfalls in the Hocking Hills State Park. There are so many natural attractions to see it would take 2-3 days to see them all and they are free. You will swear that each trail is prettier than the last. We have activities for young and old, outdoorsy and indoorsy from zip lining, to scenic rail road rides, to in cabin massage and chef services.
Some people come to sit on the deck outside and watch the wildlife go by and at night make a campfire or sit in the hot tub with your favorite beverage, or fish in the private pond. Some people come to watch football and relax but whatever the reason it is a great place to reconnect with friends and family. This property is located on 60 acres. Next door we have another cabin very similar to this one and is within walking distance but it is not visible, so if you have a big group this could be an option for you.

We take our small grandchildren on vacation every year and the parents don't like them being too far from home without them, so Hocking Hills works out very well for our family. This house was great and super clean when we showed up. We stayed for a week in June 2010 and had an great time. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is nicely decorated. There is plenty of sleeping space, the outside was nice and well maintained. A good time was had by all. Management is very good to work with. We have stayed at other cabins of theirs and always go back because they really take care of the places.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.
