This Penthouse suite is on the top two floors of the building and offers amazing views and gentle ocean breezes. The weather is most enjoyable. Despite the hot temperatures it does not feel hot due to the ocean breezes. The pools, decks, hot tubs and bar areas offer unmatched leisure and tanning spaces. Kids and adults alike will be amazed morning till night.
Snorkeling is amazing right from the dock. See all kings of fish and marine life. Lobsters are just feet from the end of the dock. See everything you would normally only see on TV. Grand Caribe has become the most sought after location on the island. Location is everything. There is quite a selection of accomodations on the island. They range from very low end to ultra high end; This condo is on the ultra high end with very modest pricing. Construction is complete; rest easy here. The water in front of the resort is some of the nicest you'll find on the island. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, food store and cinema. Most people rent a golf to venture around on and to haul groceries / beer ect. Bicycle rental is also an excellent way to get around. Very safe neighborhood and very friendly people. You will love staying here. On site 24 hr security keeps a watchful eye over the resort to keep uninvited guests out.
Unlike most tropical destinations; Belize is unique in the sense it not only has unlimited water sports snorking diving and fishing; it also offers countless jungle and mainland tours and excursions plus has extentise history and culture to be explored. The mayan civilzation that once roamed the lands continues to have an overwhelming presence. Its like they just left. To experience the Mayan ruins and to see the culture is well worth the effort. Underground rivers offer unbelievable tubing and photo opportunities. See the local zoo which has only native animals to Belize. We've seen it six times and will probably go visit at least as many times again. Zip lining through the jungle canopy of vegetation is a must. Perches elevated some 120 feet from the ground offer not only an exilerating experience but allow for views never though possible. Horse back riding, waterfalls, river excursions, back packing..... the list goes on. No where else will you get the selection of activities and real life adventure as you will here. The property was as advertised except for the new building being built right in front of this unit. We were awakened every morning at 7am to the sound of hammering and equipment. This would have been nice to know and would have made me choose another property. This property is expanding so the construction is going to last a long while. The beach out front is not a regular beach, it has rocks and sea grass so you really don't go in, the rest of the beaches are covered with garbage. Both hot tubs at this property were out of order and the main pool was closed for half a day. The pool bar/cafe is good but the prices are VERY high. You must rent a golf cart to have transportation into town or to the local restaurants and the road is horrible. Restaurants are quite expensive although very good. Ambergris Caye is a nice Island if all you wish to do is lay in a hammock or dive every day all day as there is nothing else to do except sit in the pool. The people on the island are super nice in a genuine way and all speak English. We will go somewhere else besides Belize next time as we are just used to a little more activity and need more things to do then what is offered on this island. We rented directly through the owner and he was nice, however, lives in Canada and is a little difficult to arrange payment. When you pay by credit card from the USA, there are fees and more fees, it is so much easier to deal with an owner within the states.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: Just to set the review straight. - New devellopment next door now in painting and finishing stage. - Be rest assured there are too many activities to handle; tours, fishing, water sports, snorkelling, boat / jet ski rentals, cave tubing, ruins, zoo, zip lining, hiking, kayaking, diving and dining. - restaurants range in prices. Fabulous meals from $9 us and up. - There are several options for enjoying local drinks within walking distance from the resort. - Resort is ideal for all ages, as they offer many activities to suit everyone's needs. - Payments are easily handled either by bank transfer, Paypal, or Visa. If payment is made in Belize at the resort ofetn your own bank will tack on handling fees to deal with the currency exchange. Most of our guests are on thier second and third visit with us now. Belize continues to be unequalled in value, culture, beauty and experience.

My family of eight, three children and their spouses, and my husband and I spent a fantastic week at this condo between Christmas and New Year's Day 2011. We live all over the United States and decided to come together in Belize for the holiday. We all had a fantastic week at the resort; all of staff were great to work with and the condo was just beautiful. Eli and Vidal took great care to help us plan many activities. The kids went diving with Island Divers and we all took the trip out to the Blue Hole with Amigo Del Mar Dive Shop. Both dive shops were great to work with and very professional. The weather was windy but warm at this time of year and certainly better than where we came from. The condo is very clean and well-maintained and Brent (the owner) was very helpful with the many questions that I had for him prior to our trip. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

Just returned from vacationing at this lovely property. The home is wonderfully decorated and offers amazing views of the ocean and pools from the 2 large balconies. The resort staff is very friendly and the property owners were easy to work with. The kitchen is well equipped for staying in and cooking meals. This home would work well for 3 couples, as each bedroom has private access to a bathroom. We had 2 families of 4 and made use of the pop-out sofa for a couple of the children. This home is warm, comfortable, beautifully appointed and perfectly clean, as it's brand new! Dive shops are happy to pick you up from the dock. Plan on renting a golf cart for going into town, as the resort is located in a quiet area, a couple of miles North of the bridge.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: The property is owned by both my wife and myself who own several properties in San Pedro Belize. We are both business people and have done extensive travelling until we found Belize. Now we can't get and see enough of the country. We have since stopped travelling and have called Belize our second home. We simply have found no other place that compares.

After realizing this is by far the most premium resort and development on the island; we had to be part of it and purchased our residence. We are fair in pricing and encourage everyone to take a close look at this property. Even if you think its out of your price range; think again. After staying here you'll never go back to an average property.
