Secluded and quiet! More than expected!
This cabin was everything we needed and more to explore the Black Canyon and also enjoy the comforts of Montrose. Upon our arrival, Gary greeted and welcomed us with a quick tour and fresh eggs from the chickens that are visible from the cabin. The working fire stove allowed us a cozy night when it started snowing. Kitchen had everything we needed for a quick breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. If we find ourselves back in Montrose this spot will be our first choice!

Long weekend stay with tons to do
We really enjoyed our stay in the little cabin on the ranch. My son and I explored the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Ouray, but we really enjoyed our ride to and from the cabin. We saw a ton of deer, a fox and a coyote hunt prairie dogs in a field. The cabin is decorated in a cute ranch them to match the surroundings. We visited the pony and horses on the ranch. Mr. Gary is the nicest host! Thanks for sharing your ranch with us. We had the best time!

Western movie set
This place was great. Gary was amazing and knows so much about the area. The ranch setting was perfect for my wife and I to stay a few days. I would love to stay here anytime of the year. His dogs were nice to play with in the yard. Everything worked out great. We even had a chance to feed the chickens. Only a few minutes from the park, but we enjoyed just watching the stars beside the campfire beside the cabin. Simple an amazing time.

Home on the Ranch
Fabulous place. Wonderful stay. We were looking for some quiet time off the grid and this place fit the bill perfectly. Best part was how close it is to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.
