This three bedroom, three full-bath Haena house sits right in the middle of the most spectacular 5-mile strech of ocean in all of Hawaii, Kauai's north shore. The house sits less than 250 feet from the ocean's edge, and a five-minute walk along the sand will bring you to Tunnels, one of the best snorkeling and swimming beaches in Kauai, and perhaps the most beautiful beach in all of Hawaii. Kee beach, equally stunning, is a two mile drive from the house, as is Lumahai beach.
The home is modern, fully furnished with all your vacation needs, and provides 1600 square feet of comfortable living, easily large enough for a family, yet cozy enough for a romantic getaway. Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, while the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds. In addition, one of the bedrooms has a separate kitchen and bath, as well as a separate entrance, providing plenty of privacy for two couples, or for a family. Two huge oudoor lanais help to bring the dramatic surroundings right into the home!
Hear the ocean waves and feel those breezy trade winds (and see peeks of the ocean) from the huge outdoor lanai which faces the ocean, or view dramatic Mt. Manoa and it's waterfalls from the other large lanai. Swim with the sea turtles at Kee beach, two miles down the road, or lounge at Lumahai beach two miles back the other way. A 10-minute drive takes you to Hanalei, where you can enjoy fine dining, rent beach gear, etc. The beaches in front of the house are also well-known for their variety of seashells.
The house is located between the mile 8 and mile 9 markers, and sits at the end of a small cul-de-sac. The house faces the ocean and is well off the road and away from any road noise. The start of the Kaulau trail and the Na Pali coast is two miles from the house, as is Kee beach.
This area of Kauai is truly a spectacular place to vacation, well away from the noise of the city, in an almost entirely undeveloped area of Hawaii.
