  This home is just as the title of the listing states! A group of 12 of us stayed in this home and when we arrived you could tell that the owners take great care of it! Joan was a pleasure to deal with, very prompt in responding! The house has all of the amenities you could want. Fully stocked kitchen, nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, boardgames, foosball, PS2, a nice collection of movies, comfortable seating and plenty of space for the whole family. We rented during February and a few went skiiing at Big Bear (about 15-20 minutes away) while the rest of us just relaxed inside. The home is very warm and welcoming from the unique decorations and mis-matched antiques to all of the skylights! This home has great personality! Everyone on the trip thought how much fun it would be to rent in the Summertime and hang out on the lake or by the firepit. We would definitely rent this home again! Thank You!

  We stayed for New Years weekend and had a really great time. The house is big, beautiful and right on the lake. Amazing views in the morning and plenty of stars at night. Huge basement with TV, PS2 and Foosball table, so the kids were entertained. Well stocked, open kitchen and great living room area. Ski Big Bear is 10 minutes away if you like to ski, snowboard or go tubing. Or you can ice skate on the lake ( if you dare) :) Overall great experience. Would love to stay again. Thanks

  Eight friends and I had a wonderful relaxing yet exciting weekend at this beautiful home. A fabulous view of the lake greeted us on a sunny day. The home has a very well equipped kitchen which we used for all but one night when we went to a delicious restaurant in Hawley about 20 minutes away. Table and dinnerware was sufficient for all of us to eat at one time and the living/family area met our need to all be together. Hawley's unique shops and restaurants were open on Saturday and operated by warm, kind folk. We found chocolate centerpieces for thanksgiving, antiques to add to collections and even shoes at the second hand shop. Owners were very easy to work with! Definitely recommend this home as a summer vacation spot for a multi-generational family. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor for the less nimble elders.

  Not your usual rental, beautiful home inside and out. We were 12 ranging from 3-80 yrs and all had a great time. This is one of the few rentals that included "toys" to fully enjoy the scenic property. Some of us did venture out and would recommend Bushkill Falls, Penny Lane Candies and Stone Creations. Personally, I was perfectly happy staying put enjoying the peace, wildlife and stars. Joan and Bill are accessible and accommodating.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

  We loved our stay at the lake house. It is so well supplied and had everything to make our stay memorable. The children fished all day and kayaked to their hearts content. Evenings after dinner we would sit around the fire pit and play games, solve world problems and just have fun. Great time, thanks The Groh's

  This house was perfect for our family reunion to celebrate my father's 75th birthday. It had plenty of space for all along with everthing we needed to prepare meals and have fun at the lake front. We enjoyed peaceful boatrides on the lake, beautiful sunset views from the house deck and enjoyed s'mores by the firepit at night. The owners are so nice and answered all our questions promptly. Thank you for a weekend of wonderful memories!

  My family and I had a wonderful week here in August. The house is very comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean. All wood, with cathedral ceilings. We loved the gorgeous views of the lake from the great room and big deck. My 4 kids were in heaven with the aquajump, rafts, kayaks, rowboat, foosball, ping pong, sports equipment, and PS 2. It was like paradise for them! Even our 2 year old could wade around off the little pebble "beach" (bring water shoes though). The lake is beautiful, peaceful and clean. The adults enjoyed sitting on the deck or dock watching the lake, or boating and swimming. We had a fun cookout in the firepit, and enjoyed the big lawn. We appreciated the downstairs "rec room" so the kids could have their own space. The owners were very helpful and responsive.

  What a wonderful way to celebrate our 40th. The house was everything it promised and then some. Plenty of room for all 10 of us (including children and grandchildren). There was something for everyone. The house was very well equipped. The airconditioning and wireless internet were both greatly appreciated. The lake was perfect for kayaking, swimming and fishing. The wildlife was incredible we saw deer, turkey, ducks a bear, etc. It was like a Disney set. It's a perfect place to make family memories.

  We stayed here for a week and everything was wonderful. The house is in great shape and very well equipped. Private yard and very pretty setting and lake access. The kids loved the trampoline, ping pong and games, The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use.Air Conditioning was also a bonus due to a hot summer week. Master bedroom is very nice and other rooms quiet and private. The deck and patio made hanging out outside fun and all have nice views. We saw lots of wildife including a black bear and her cubs in the woods nearby.

  We stayed for two nights on the weekend and the house was just what we needed. Enough beds and room for all. Great Rec room in basement and large open kitchen and living room made it easy to visit and feel like home. The lake was beautiful and we saw and enjoyed some wild life while visiting (deer, wild turkey and a cute little chipmunk came to visit). Owners were good at answering questions I had previously. Would love to visit again. Beautiful site!
