  There were 8 of us and the accomodations fit us perfectly. The location was great. Just minutes from Waikiki, east side activities close by, and it was easy to get to the windward side over the Pali Highway. We certainly enjoyed the pool and the pool house is so nice. There are a lot of steps since this house is on the hillside. So good knees are in order! We loved sitting on the lanai with its beautiful view of Diamond Head and the ocean. You may want to bring a hairdryer since we could not find one in the house. There were beach chairs, beach toys, noodles, and mats. A good time was had by all!

  We are a group of seven adults from Boston who just finished a one-week stay at the property. The home is very spacious, with plenty of locations (lanai, dining room, pool area) to sit together for dinner or drinks, but also has plenty of room to find space for a nap or some quiet time. The view is spectacular! The property is just far enough from Honolulu that you do not feel you are in the city and can enjoy the sounds of birds and island breezes, while Waikiki and excellent beaches like Hanuma Bay and Lanikai are less than a 1/2 hour away. The kitchen is well-appointed and perfect for cooking for a larger group. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The pool house is also very spacious and allows for a great area to enjoy in the evening without disturbing the neighbors. The owner is very responsive to questions and flexible with check-in and check-out times. We highly recommend this property for a group or family trip.

  It is extremely easy to write a rave review about the accommodations afforded by this vacation home. The views are spectacular of the ocean as well as the lush vegetation of the golf course and surrounding areas. Diamond Head is a view by itself, and a recommended activity is to climb to the top for a more amazing view. There were five in our party, and the rooms with the lanais were very quiet and restful. Downtown Honolulu, golf course, beaches, and sightseeing are readily available. We would love to own this home and stay year-round.

  "An ideal vacation house for the ideal vacation. The location of Gecko Ridge can't be beat. It is close enough to a major highway so that getting around the island or into downtown Honolulu is a breeze. The accommodation was everything promised. Just gorgeous, from the well-stocked kitchen, you can easily make the most gourmet of foods, to the luxurious bedrooms. And the views from the lanai are some of the best on Oahu. With that view I could sit and relax for hours, then pop into the pool. What could be better?

  I've stayed here twice and loved both times. It is a beautiful home and perfectly located. You are close enough to get to Waikiki nightlife in minutes, but just far away enough to enjoy the peace of the beautiful setting. I've slept in the pool house and the main house and both are terrific. The pool house is quite large and slept our four person family easily. The photos show you the lovely decorating and great view. I wish I was having breakfast looking onto the ocean right now! I love to walk and find that the area around Diamond Head offers everything from an easy stroll to a challenging ocean side walk to, of course, the climb up the volcano itself! My husband is a surfer and was thrilled that the house was so close not only to the ocean but also major roadways so we could easily explore this amazing island. The owners are very helpful and I would recommend the property to all my friends - I already have! We'll be back soon!
