We loved this property! The personal beach with the hammock was used just about every day by someone in the house.The pool and the hot tub were a great way to spend the days that we had no definite plans. And we spent just about every evening either around the large island in the kitchen or sitting out on the screened-in porch enjoying the stars and the sounds of the ocean. We truly enjoyed the location - just 30 minutes or so from Key West. It was just far enough away from the hustle n bustle of Key West but with all of the important conveniences close by - grocery, liquor store, and fish market. We frequented the No Name Pub a couple of times and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Big Pine Key - try the calzone. Also, we found the Sunset Grille in Marathon Key on our last day and it's definitely on our list for the next time we visit the Keys. I can't forget to mention the Big Pine Restaurant for breakfast. Great food and great service!! This was truly a trip to remember and we're already talking about our next visit to Tiki Beach!

Relaxing Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in this house. We were able to meet the owner and she was a delite! The property was amazing - from the landscapes, to the pool, tiki bar and the view of the ocean inlet. The sunrise was amazing each day. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect - we were able to go out to the gulf easily - Bahia Honda was right across the water and we were also able to go over to snorkle. The house had great outdoor living space - we were hardly inside. We spent most of our day in the screened in porch which had very compfy. The Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook several great meals. There was an extra fridge in the laundry room and a bait freezer. We loved the pictures and the stories all around the house. My only request for our next visit is to fix the drainage in the hall bathroom, it doesnt drain quickly and fills up as you are showering. And we had issues with heating the hot tub... however, the owner was out immediately to help - and gave us the remote for operating. - (thx). Our stay was something we will remember forever!

We have just returned from an outstanding stay at Tiki Beach. Everything was just as described on their website and shown in their pictures. The home was laid out perfectly for our family of five. Plenty of space for everyone to relax inside and the outdoor spaces were absolutely perfect. The pool and hot tub areas, the many tiki huts, outdoor bar, and beach areas gave everyone a chance to unwind. I am going to miss eating great fresh seafood meals in the screened in porch every night. We rented kayaks from Bill at Big Pine Key Kayak and spent some time exploring No Name Key and Mangrove Key across the Bay. We also rented a boat and took several fishing expeditions to the backcountry and snorkeled off a reef in Newfound Harbour. There was so much to do around the house and in the bay, that we hardly even got in the car and we didn't get a chance to go to Bahia Honda even though it's only five minutes away. The owner and the caretaker were wonderful to rent from and couldn't have done anything more to make us feel comfortable with the house and the area. We will definitely be back!

Tiki Beach is Great

The property is great. Beautiful views, lovely pool, totally pet friendly. Very clean and well-maintained -- could use an update to bar chairs in kitchen. Property manager was wonderfully helpful. We recommend the Square Grouper for dinner and kayaking around the bay for fun. We would definitely recommend property to friends and relatives.

Best of the Keys

You can never know if what you actually see is what you get, but with this property you get everything and more! We loved the house, the pool, the hot tub, the tiki bars, the dock and the property in general. Everything we needed was right where we needed it. I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week in the Keys. We are planning on coming back again next year and probably for longer because we loved it so much. The only thing I wished for was for the weeds to have been a little less so that we could have kayaked from the beach access in front of the house. It would be great if the owners ever decide to do the weed control fence and keep the smelly away. Also, the dog would have loved to gone for a swim off the beach but even he wouldn't brave the muck. That would be the only negative to an entire week in heaven. We rented a boat, put it to lots of use and went snorkeling and lobster wrangling as often as we could. The pool was divine, the extra fridge, freezer and coolers were awesome to have. We used the BBQ quite a few evening to cook fresh seafood and have pool parties. I would recommend this property to everyone. You might want to put the person with the least amount of luggage in the front bedroom as there is no closet or furniture to store your clothing, but if you are like us by the end of the week all of the clothing is spread all over and is outside on the railing drying most of the time. Kudos to the owner, can't wait to return! Don't forget to go and get pizza from the No Name, best around!

Tiki Beach was a wonderful place to stay, very clean, just as described. Pool and spa were very clean and enjoyable.. We spent the week with kids and grandkids, very roomy for all of us. Would definitely recommend for families. Grandkids enjoyed fishing off the pier, and the landscaping is beautiful. Will definitely be back for another stay!

Great Place for "Taking It Key-sie"!

Our family just returned from an amazing week at Tiki Beach, and we all agree it was our best vacation ever! The house and property are perfect for a larger family group. The house is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and big enough for everyone to spread out. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 teens, a tween, a toddler and a baby, and we never felt cramped or uncomfortable. The view from the screen room is so beautiful it almost look fake, like a surreal mural. We loved being able to spend time together or retreat to the many sitting areas around the house and the property. The property is beautifully landscaped and the pool and grotto hot tub occupied much of our days and nights. We felt a bit like rock stars on our own private tropical estate. We grilled, hooked up our i-phones to the outside stereo at the Tiki Bar and chilled out on the many lounge chairs and floats. The lights at night set the mood for fun! Key Deer visited frequently. While there, some of us rented bikes for the week from Big Pine Bike Rental and enjoyed numerous rides around Big Pine and No Name Key, including a ride to the famous No Name Pub about 4 miles away. We also rented a kayak and paddleboard from Big Pine Kayak for a few days and enjoyed exploring the Spanish Harbor. The water was not as blue as some other areas of the keys, and sea grass gathers at the shore of the house, making it a little smelly at low tide, but the water was calm and quiet and there were plenty of fish, birds and other wildlife to see. We didn't have much luck fishing off the dock, but it was a great place to catch a tan anyway! Big Pine is also convenient to exploring the rest of the Keys as well. We took a few trips to Key West (40 mins), a fishing trip out of Islamorada (1 hour away) and a snorkel trip to Looe Key from Bahai Honda State Park (10 minutes. Be sure to reserve ahead of time!) Everyone we met was super-friendly and helpful, and it was easy to see why folks come to the keys for a visit and never leave! We love exploring and rarely do the same vacation twice, but we are already considering booking a return for next year. Tiki Beach is the perfect getaway for fun and relaxation!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Tiki Beach for a week and are so sad to leave! This place is amazing and was the perfect getaway for both of us. The property is very, very spacious and secluded - there is plenty of seating area (inside and out) for ourselves and for guests. This place had everything we needed and we only left twice throughout the entire week - once to go to Winn Dixie (right down the road), and once to visit No Name Pub. It was a perfect vacation for us and for our dog, who loved to roam the fenced property and go swimming off of the dock. My husband and I loved the house for just the two of us, but are definitely going to bring more folks down next time so everyone can enjoy this little slice of heaven. Thanks for having us - can't wait to come back!

We have been going to the Keys for many years and have stayed in several locations, however this will be the place we return to from now on. The house and property are amazing. Loved everything from the Key Deer visits, ocean views, screened porch, Tiki Bar, pool, hammock, and the moon view from the grotto. This place truly feels like your own little slice of heaven. We're only sad we can not visit more often. Extremely clean and very appointed, only suggestion would be to add a few more pots and pans. A perfect lace for a romantic getaway to a family vacation! Can't wait to go again.

Tiki Beach is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. The pool, hot tub and sunbathing by the pool is awesome - private and there is even a poolside bar! Sunrise and moonrise everyday was fantastic. Tiki Beach has beautiful landscaping with walking trails and orchids in the trees. No Name Pub Pizza is a must, take a drive to dine there - great atmosphere or take back to Tiki Beach to eat in one of the Tiki Huts on the beach. Tiki Beach is also close enough to Key West for day trips - or evening trips down Duval Street for shopping, eating and cocktails. I can't wait to go back next year!

This house and location works out well if you are looking for a relaxing time, but when you want to see action-you are only 30 miles from Key West and 10 minutes to a fabulous park at Bahia Honda or kayaking in the mangroves! We enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The house is worth it! You can just hang out by the pool and hot tub, walk in the incredibly landscaped yard or sit out on the dock if you want to just stay at the house. I would recommend this property to everyone!

My husband and I have stayed in this house on several occasions, and loved it so much we spent a week there for our tenth anniversary. The property is amazing (check out the hot tub in the grotto by the pool!) and there are plenty of restaurants close enough to even ride a bike. Once you have explored those, take a short ride to Key West (about 40 minutes) for some new things to do. But you probably won't need to go anywhere, as this property has everything you would need for a GREAT vacation!

Just spent a long weekend at Tiki Beach. Unbelievable how nice this property is. Spent one night at Eden House in Key West for 380 a night. Left early in the morning because we realized Tiki Beach was soooooo much nicer. The sunrises and moonrises are phenomenal. The pool and grotto hottub are exceptional. Can't wait to go back. Would recommend to everyone.The most relaxing time I have ever had. Lots of special touches.

We have stayed in many different locations in the Keys over the past 10 years but this rental was the best by far! Grocery, liquor store, and shopping is all within minutes of the property. The house is well maintained, clean, and has many special touches not seen anywhere else. The owner provides books about the area and recent novels to read, plenty of seating inside and outside, tiki bars outside, HUGE beach towels, and many extra touches to make you feel right at home. We didn't want to leave! The property is like an estate built only for your own personal pleasure. We highly recommend this property and will return every year!
