Kapalua Ridge Villa 612 has magnificent ocean, sunrise and golf course views. This tranquil air-conditioned first floor Villa overlooks the Pacific Ocean, Kapalua Chapel, the Bay Golf Course 6th Fairway and Honolua Bay.
Our beautiful spacious air-conditioned one bedroom accommodation includes HIGH SPEED wireless internet connection, two bathrooms; his/her vanity in the master bath, and shower stall in second bathroom. Also a big living room and dining area, complete electric kitchen, laundry area, two private lanais (1325 square-foot)and reserved covered parking. Decorated with rattan furnishings in tropical Hawaiian colors, some of the amenities include a king-size pillow top bed in the master suite, queen-size extra padded (6 1/2'' thick) pull-out sofa in the living area and a twin-size air bed if needed. Also two flat screen TVs, DVD/VCR, and a land-line phone, washer/dryer, towels and linens.
The Kapalua Ridge has two heated swimming pools, a barbecue and recreation area, and a business center for internet access and send and receive faxes.
Activities at Kapalua include state-of-the-art golf instruction at the Kapalua Golf Academy. Play at two championship golf courses: The Bay Course and The Plantation Courses. Tennis is available at the Kapalua Tennis Garden.
The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, distinctive shops and Hawaiian entertainment, casual and gourmet restaurants are just a short walk away from our Kapalua Ridge Villa 612, along with the Kapalua Bay, D.T. Fleming Beach and Honolua Bay.
The 'free' Kapalua shuttle service to take you to all the activities, restaurants and beaches in Kapalua. Kapalua shuttle will even pick you up at the Kapalua Airport.
The Kapalua Ridge prohibits smoking on any balcony or lanai.There is a designated smoking area at the swimming pool or guests may smoke at a minimum of 25 feet away from any building as long as the act of smoking does not create a nuisance interfering with the owner's peaceful enjoyment of the property.

The views from the lanai of Molokai and the ocean are lovely. The unit is quiet, in an exclusive setting. The condo is spacious (for two) and comfortable. We found the supplies meager in some respects. There was no detergent provided, although there is a stacker washer/dryer. Bring your own toiletries, as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

As stated in our confirmation letter to our guests, an initial supply soaps, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The guests are responsible for their supplies thereafter. We have been frequent visitors to Maui, and this time I decided to try a vacation rental vs. a resort. Unfortunately my decision did not go over well with our 20 year old daughter. This VRBO is appropriate for an older couple who desire a quiet place to relax. Golf is close, Pools are adequate. BBQ area is nice. Beach is within driving distance. SanSei (our favorite Sushi Restaurant) is really close. Accommodations were clean. (BUT a little stuffy) The owner handled a minor issue in a timely manner (no sheets or bedding available for sofa sleeper) AND sofa sleeper is your typical sofa sleeper. (in other words nothing special) We ended up going to the Westin for four of our six nights just to try to rectify my error in judgment. Owner was great to work with. Thanks for a great stay anyway! (It is not for those seeking a resort like feel)Recommended for: Age 55+.

Most of our guests are honeymooners, couples, and families with small children who like their privacy. They enjoy golf, tennis and exploring the various beaches on Maui. After a full day, they love cooking their own dinners and relax in a condo that offer amenities like a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and optional maid service. Mahalo for your review!

This is a very convenient and pleasant condo and I would stay again in a heartbeat. The view from the condo is airy and pretty across Office Road and out to the beach. The walk back from the Ritz Carlton beach (tends to have bigger waves) will be all up hill, might be tough going for some, but the pool is right across a very quiet street. You might want to drive 5 minutes to the calmer Kapalua beach or take the shuttle. You are a short drive to Honolua Bay for great snorkeling and very close to the entrance for the walking trail along the shoreline to Kapalua Bay. Decor is basic Hawaii condo style and a bit dated, but clean, relaxed and comfortable. It has a very well equipped kitchen - hard to imagine anything else you would need - as well as beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. Excellent washer/dryer. You will need to use A/C at night if you want to keep the sliders locked, which you probably should, although this is a very safe area. Any questions or problems I had were addressed immediately and effectively. It is a short drive to Napili Market for supplies and there are several restaurants in the immediate area at different price ranges - car is needed here, but parking is excellent. There are a few steps down from parking to the condo entrance. Try Mama's take out at Napili Plaza for rotisserie chicken and ribs. Have fun at this condo - I did!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
