  Just got back from a week had a great time. Plenty of room in a nice quite neighborhood convienent to shopping and some good eating places. Love to set on the deck and be on the beach without having to get sand all over me and if I want to get in the water just s few steps away. Liked it so much we already have another trip booked for October. By the way I have rented from Tammy several times, [ the Laguana beach cottage] and she is a great person to rent from.

  We celebrated my father's 80th birthday here. We had the time of our lives! The house is perfect for large groups. We were five families and a dog. The house truly sits right on the beach and you can wake up in the morning with your coffee or tea and just enjoy the peace and tranquility of being right on the beach. We saw dolphins every day in the water. The two master suites downstairs were much bigger than you can appreciate in the photos. They were huge! and had doors that opened right on to the deck and not 50 yards to the beach. The upstairs is a completely open layout that makes everyone feel like they're together but it's so big that you're not on top of each other. The kitchen has lots of counter space - we cooked for 21 people one night with no problems at all. Tammy was very nice to work with and that just made the whole experience even better. We'd go back any time.

  This is the best house ever. The house was even better than the pictures. It was so clean and very well stocked. We loved everything about hte house. I have 5 grown children. My kids and their familys and us all went down and had plenty of room. It was oout of this world. I will be back, as there aren't many place where we can all go and have plenty of room. We loved this house

  THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW PLACES THAT IS EVEN BETTER THAN ADVERTISED. WE FOUND THE HOUSE TO BE PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY GATHERING. WE HAVE ALREADY DECIDED TO COME HERE AGAIN NEXT YEAR. ALL THE ROOMS WERE AS NICE AS THE PICTURES INDICATED. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY DIFFERENT HOMES OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS & WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

  We had our great family vacation at The Castway house this year and are already planning our next one!!! The house is great with 17 people there you would think we got in each others way . It is arranged so you feel like there wasn't that many . The view from the upper deck was amazing!! Our 3 small grandchildren always wanted to go to the backyard and play in the sand. It is just far away enough to not be crowded and the water was great evev though hurrican Debby tried to ruin our first few days we didn' let her. So if you have a big family like ours you will surely enjoy the Castway as much as we did!!!!

  My family stayed here in October 2010 and absolutely loved it! We found the house to match the listing perfectly. The house is extremely spacious and can easily hold several families - would be a great house for a family reunion or girls' weekend getaway. My favorite part was that you can literally walk right out onto the sand from the deck - no lugging all your beach chairs/coolers from the street! I also loved to sit out on the top deck with a book and a glass of wine and listen to the waves - so relaxing! October was the perfect time to go too - the weather was absolutely perfect - didn't get above 85 degrees and the beach was just as beautiful as ever! We definitely hope to rent again. Thank you for letting us borrow your little piece of heaven!

  we just spent ten nights at 'castaway' and were not disappointed. tammy was very easy to work with. the house has a comfortable, lived-in home feel. the easy access to the beach was a big bonus! this area is not populated with high rises so it was quiet at the beach. spectacular sunsets can be viewed from the upper deck. we saw a stingray, some dolphins, little fish and even white crabs in the sand. wireless internet made it possible for us to touch base with work when needed, easy covered parking right in the front door for two vehicles was well appreciated. water pressure was fabulous and made taking showers ultra invigorating. everything was comfortable. triple j steakhouse is an unbeatable restaurant for lunch, cruise tours was fun and the pier park shopping was enjoyable with easy parking. we would recommend this vacation rental to our family/friends.

  We had five couples in our group. Each bedroom had it's own bath and are spaced for privacy. The great room,dining,& kitchen is very large and made all of us very comfortable. Tammy Macall made our stay a very easy transaction. You will not be disappointed in this vacation home if you have a large family. You are so close to the ocean you don't even need a tent. We are looking forward to our next trip. Thanks Tammy

  Want to have breakfast while watching the dolphins play in the ocean? Do you have a big family that wants lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for your vacation? Do you want to be really on the oceanfront? This is the home for your vacation. The pictures do not lie, this home is beautifully decorated in a beach theme motif. It is very spacious is all the rooms. The kitchen is huge and opens into the great room which opens onto the upper deck. All bedrooms are very quite and private. The home is very clean and has everything you need but your swimsuit! The location is on a quite section of the beach but very close to any shopping and to very good resturants. Oh, and the owner, she is very responsive to any questions and very helpful. We would love to go back to this beautiful home. You can also bring your family pet :)!

  We spent a week at "Castaway" and it was wonderful. The large family area was great when we all gathered for fun and games - the "kids den" was also great when it was adult time. There was no stepping on toes in the large kitchen and the openness allowed the "chef for the evening" to still be a part of the gathering - and plenty of sleeping room for any large family. We will return to this home - and I say home because that is what it felt like, not just a rental house!
