  We had a terrific vacation at Janice and Mark's condo. So many wonderful and thoughtful touches really made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We had everything we needed. This was our fourth trip to Maui and we love West Maui. We were really impressed with all of the improvements overall. And a real sense of welcome and community. We met several of the permanent residents, including Greg from Maui Clean Space. Just a real great sense of welcome that we hadn't received at the other condo's we've rented in Honokowai. I recommend this condo for it's location, amenities, cleanliness, and calming atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The condo is clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything you can possibly need. The onsite manager is friendly and informative and property maintained daily. We especially noted how quiet the unit is unlike staying in some hotels. The ocean view as well as daily sea turtle sightings from the lanai was great. We have recommended this unit to family and friends and anxiously look forward to our next visit. Peggy and Bill

  This is our 2nd year at Janice's condo and we have already booked for 2013. Her description and pictures of the condo are right on. You won't be disappointed in anyway.

  We just returned from Maui and loved our stay in your condo! The view is extraordinary with whales visible from the balcony. We enjoyed cocktails and meals while watching whales and listening to the surf. We left the door open and listened to the ocean all night. The condo is very clean, updated and equipped with everything you need, including for the beach. There are beach towels, chairs, a cooler, insulated bags, and boogie boards. There are binoculars to watch the whales. The location is convenient to stores and restaurants, and there are lots of different beaches nearby. It's a quiet and peaceful retreat.

  This was our first trip to Hawaii, and we weren't disappointed. The condo is EXACTLY as Janice promised. Clean, bright, airy, and fabulous views. The upkeep is meticulous; everything was clean and supplies were fully stocked. The bed was super comfy; not too firm or too soft. The over-bed vented windows, coupled with the door vent and the screened lanai allowed the trade winds to flow freely through the unit day and night, and kept the condo fresh and cool. We never had any delays accessing the two courtyard barbeques, and enjoyed talking to the other guests by the pool. Very quiet and friendly building; everyone was friendly and helpful. To summarize: this condo is exactly as advertised, and has wonderful views and location. Lahaina is only minutes away. Makes for a perfect home base for any extended vacation on Maui. There is simply NOTHING I can suggest for improvement; this place is superb ! We will be back. Andrew Klinzmann & Trish Carter (Beaumont, Alberta, Canada)

  Our stay of 5 weeks was very enjoyable. The condo was all that we hoped it would be. The unit has all the supplies that you will need to feel just like home.The view from the lanai is awsome,with lots of turtles to watch. We had a great time. Dave and Terry

  We spent March in Janice and Mark's condo. Affordable, very clean, homelike and most comfortable. Janice very helpful and welcoming. The view is world class. The trade winds and the surf defy description. Nowhere else we've been like it. Easy to recommend.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  The condo was perfect for my hubby and I. Decor is nice, bed is comfortable and the view is breathtaking. The lani is very large and we loved the sound of the ocean as we enjoyed the view. The grounds are well maintained including the pool. Lots of tables and chairs by pool and two stainless barbecues. We plan to return in 2012 and hopefully every year after. Art and Rosie

  The condo is modern, updated, ceiling fans, cross ventilation and an AWESOME view of the ocean, sea turtles and whales all from the lanai or the spacious sun deck just below the room. The grounds are well kept and parking is not an issue. The queen size bed is very comfortable with wonderful sheets and quality linens. A good nights rest is important for "fun in the sun"! It was also quiet with no road noise, only the waves of the ocean. I would recommend it and will return on my next journey to Maui. Thank you Janice for making it so easy to be your guest!

  This is one of those places where you walk in the front door and just stop, chin dropped, grinning at the view. It's visible from almost every part of the condo – and because of the way the building is angled, you have great privacy from the lanai. We practically lived out there, watching the waves and the sunsets and the turtles. If you're the kind of traveler who needs granite counters and a huge, luxurious bathroom, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you want a condo that is sparkling clean and recently updated, with the kind of view that would cost you 3 times the amount at one of those glitzy resorts, then you have hit the jackpot. The owners are great to work with, as is the cleaning service, who live on site and were incredibly helpful with suggestions.

  We are very excited that we found such a quiet, well kept, affordable accommodation in Maui. Mark and Janice are very plesant and efficient to deal with. The condo was immaculate, roomy and had everything that we required to make our stay comfortable, the only problem was....it was hard to have to leave. We will definately be returning.

  Maui is beautiful and the condo was so comfortable. It actually was bigger than the pictures lead us to believe. Honestly, we can't think of a thing you could do to improve our stay, the condo was perfect. Thanks Mark & Janice for recommending Okazuya's for great fast food and The Gazebo in Napili for our favorite breakfast. Hope to be back again soon!

  This is an awesome property. The ocean is just a stones throw away and the waves will put you to sleep at night. The complex is quiet and very well maintained and just remodeled as well. It is one of the premier properties on the west side of Maui. The owners are great to work with and they have remodeled the unit with the guest in mind. Very well done! I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Maui. What a great value!! The Hawaiian Sea Turtles are always playing on the reef just outside of the property. Just a great relaxing place to enjoy Maui.

  We have not stayed in this condo, however, were in and out as Mark & Janice updated the unit. It has been done very well! Hale Ono Loa is a beautiful, quiet property; called the jewel of the lower road. The minute you walk into the complex, see the incredible grounds, the views and the sea turtles, you will fall in love. Hale Ono Loa has a very large rental following. Once you stay here, you will return! Honokowai is the most wonderful little village. You will find early morning walkers/joggers/runners, and the farmer's market close to the complex is so much fun!
